Great read
Hateful Regent flows beautifully on from Bloody Princess it reveals more dark and triggering events about Lyric. She isn't the girl everyone thinks she is, she maintains an impenetrable mask as a happy rich girl. In reality she has been broken and molded by her Dad to be a stone cold killer, an enforcer and an effective torturer. This book delivers more hidden secrets, building steamy scenes and the b!tchiest hazing you've ever seen. The more time Lyric is around the guys the less she thinks they had to do with Lyssa's death but Melody is set against them. The question is who is right? The cliff hanger in this one knocks you for six, bring on Cruel Reign!

so much mystery
I have so much to say about these books so far but I’m too desperate to find the next one. I may come back and edit these poor reviews so that I can persuade you to read them for yourselves. Take the lack of review as positive - I’m in such a hurry to find out what the fudge is going on I can’t stay to type

a cliffhanger of darkness
Another crazy book to this series of games, secrets and abuse. Oh but not forgetting how hot it’s getting with a few of these yummy characters and damn Lyric is in a league of her own, she’s tough, she’s blood thirsty and can handle a lot and that’s saying something. It’s getting darker too

Addictive Read.
If you enjoyed the first book in the series, you need to give this second book a read. Like the first, this one hooks with ease and ensures you cannot put it down. The characters suck you in deeper, the storyline offers more, and everything keeps you eager for what comes next. Highly recommend.

💗🖤Addictive series !! I need the bect book NOW!!💗🖤
I did not read book 1 and I really recommend you read book 1 before this. I wish I did but I got a rough idea what Lyric been through to lead to current events in Hateful RegentThere are so many interesting character in this book and they get there own point of view. Not only the main characters but the side characters too. I think they are side characters unless they have a bigger part to play in the other books planned for the futureLyric is a kickass and dangerous heroine and her flashback of her past just show how she made to be tough. Atlas & Keats are the heroes and they are GREEK GOD HOT & big hearts. Keats is the first one to sleep with her which is he was very happy about and she told him that Atlas took her panties to say he slept with her to win the bet. All 3 are friends and they are past the bet events, that happened in the previous bookMy heart broke when she told her heroes even though she didn't need one. When she told them about them about the scars & a deal that her father has with one of his friends...no spoilersFantastic read and this book has everything from steamy moments to suspense moments that will shock you!!OH BY THE WAY GIANT CLIFFHANGERthere are more questions than answer and I just want to know what the true dark nature of the elite rich families...I need to read book 1 because I think I would have enjoyed it alot more and it would be one of my favs. Still a brillaint read but I love knowing everything about a series that's just me as a reader.☆MUST READ☆

Book two and things are getting more complicated!
This is book two in the Sweetest Revenge series and ends on a cliffhanger. Lyric is still in the dark about a lot of things and the one person she thought she could trust may not deserve that trust. Atlas and Keats seem to be very possessive of Lyric and they are definitely wanting to protect her from harm. Jude is actively trying to get her to leave school and will do whatever it takes to accomplish that. Thayer is just sort of background noise at the moment and seems to not want anything to do with Lyric. I am dying to find out who killed Lyric's sister and was it any of the guys that Lyric is investigating? Ready to move on to book three.

Good but too much questions unanswered
I really like Lyric, I like how her feelings are starting to show up for Atlas and Keats, and I love her relationship with them and how protective they are of her, even if they can't really potect her, I think that just the thought is important to Lyric, the knowledge that someone cares. I absolutely LOVED how she was the one who told them about part of what happens to her, because I hate how writers normally make the FMC hide those things until the boys find out about it on their own, it was a breath of fresh air and definitely made me rise my rating.I feel like Jude and Thayer don't have a place yet on the story, and I hate how Jude only appears at the end of every book or how Thayer chapter with Lyric on the party ends out of nowhere, what happened there, did someone arrive and interrupted them? did they finished the drink? how Lyric got home because she was probably really drunk, where was Keats and Atlas during the rest of the party? what was the reason for that scene/party to be written? it led nowhere. The writers need to show and not tell, they want to write a dark book, it involves more than torture or something like that, like the thanksgiving part, give me how Lyric is feeling when she's with the men that buys her, how she felt after it happened and was punished, give me dark scenes, not just say how dak someone life is.I HATE Melody, she's annoying, and entitled, I still can't figure out why she had to fake her death, I feel like there was no reason for her to had to do that. I hated how she just disregards Lyric's feelings and warnings as if she knows everything about the world. She should just really die already.I feel like we're introduced to too many secret societies and don't get any answer to the questions raised on the first book.Lyssa's death isn't interesting because we don't know anything about her, so we don't have any connection to her, and you live with your sister (Lyric) and don't notice any bruising on her or anything weird happening on your house? she sounds like she didn't cared about Lyric at all, and they weren't close, so to me Lyric only wants to find out about who murdered her because she couldn't avenge the death of her mother and is projecting those feelings on Lyssa's death.I want to know more about the boys, we still don't know anything about them two books into the story.

That cliffhanger!
Yes I know it’s a continuing series. Yes I knew there was going to be a cliffhanger but man! Just when it was getting really good BAM! Lights out, curtain closes and now on to the next act. I honestly have no idea if Lyric will ever get a happy ending. I’m hoping it’s with at least one if not most of the guys but it’s really not looking good. I really can’t stand her sister. She has no compassion for the things that Lyric goes through, in fact she just keeps making it worse. Hopefully after all that’s said and done there is some good that comes out of this mess. Man this series is amazing and I already downloaded the next book.

Loved it
Actual Rating 4.5This book picks up where book one ended.Lyssa's death is still surrounded in mystery and Lyric gets closer to Atlas & Keats, and we learn more about the goings on in The Sterling Household. The suspense it this one is killing me, pieces of the puzzle are starting to come together but the revenge plot is now coming second to betrayal....Ends on a cliffhanger so be prepared!

So good
This book has so many twists and turns and that cliffhanger, ugh! This is my first series by this author and I am hooked. I love Lyric, she is fierce and just what the boys of Ascendance Bay needs. Living Atlas and Keats. Both are what Lyric needs. Just hoping other 2 will get with the picture. Also, can I just say that Melody is getting on my last nerve. Her sister has been through he'll and back and Melody is acting like a spoiled brat. Maybe she has been through a lot too but she just needs to listen to her twin. Ugh, I cannot wait for the next book.
