Q: What material are these made of? ABS?

The lock jaw is made from hard polimar and very durable when used as designed. I have had mine for Many months now and they haven’t failed me yet. The quick release and lock capability are easy to operate

Q: Do these have the same satisfying click when they lock in as the lock jaw originals do?

Yes, the safety latch clicks in.

Q: Do they have an open action, where you can easily remove it with one hand?

Yes, designed for easy on, easy off one hand installation and removal.

Q: I am wanting these so plates won't move in the deadlift. i don't know if i should purchase the olys or these. i have steel plates if that makes a dif?

Both OLY 2 and PRO 2 work for deadlifts, and plate type doesn't make a difference. PRO 2 has extra locking tab which is more suitable for deadlifts with repeated drops of the bar.
