20430 Freebird Rainbow Stunt 76

This kite makes an excellent begginner (for those who may have flown a 2 string kite at least once before) to intermediate kite. I began flying a 2 string kite with the Skydog Little Wing. I bought this kite for my dad, and it was a fairly steep learning curve for him. My 6yo that already flys the little wing did just fine with it. The little wing kite is a little easier to fly, slower turns and seems to be a little more stable. However, the advantage is with this kite you can get it into a fade much easier and begin to do some of the slack wing tricks. This kite makes some very fast turns. In 20mph wind it makes mind numbing quick figure 8's and makes a loud buzzing noise from the trailing edge when you come across the center of the wind zone. If you already have a lot of experience and like to do tricks then I would get a higher end modle. For the price, this kite is an excellent value. It has also been very durable and has survived several 20mph wind nose dives into the ground. Sometimes with a hard crash the spreader bars have poped out, no big deal, just a little inconvienient, but the little wing never comes apart.

The kite is great, as long as it is not broken.... I flew this kite on 2 occasions and the 2nd time did not last very long. The rods are incredibly delicate and cracked on a relatively soft landing.
