Looks like mdf wood not birch....very thin....returned back and they send me same again

I really like these, they are good for acrylic painting and crafting. I've bought these before in different sizes and the quality has never disappointed me. I do think they are a little on the pricey side, but sadly most things are these days. I like that they come with corner protectors on all the pieces of wood and sealed together in tight packaging to protect the wood from any damage. They were as described in the advertisement and I would buy them again!

This product is amazing. I burn wood. This is soft. Comes sanded. Burns like a hot butter knife. PERFECT!!!! Thank you for the amazing product!

My heart sank when I heard the driver chuck the package on the porch, especially when I picked it up and found it wrapped in one ply flimsy plastic bag. HOWEVER, the manufacturer had wrapped the 4 boards in a tight clear plastic and supplied heavy duty plastic corners, saving the unit from breakage/denting. A real feat, as the wood is pretty soft. I make pretty nice art and have to save money on supplies, but still want the substrate to be decent. Very happy to not have to return or "make do."

This pack of boards is of good value to be used on studies. However, their quality will not satisfy the purpose if the artwork is to be preserved over a long period of time or to be displayed. The constitution of the board makes it prone to wrapping and cracking.

It’s a great product and worth the money. They stain nicely and have a variety of uses. However, if you are doing string art you may want to reconsider. We did a simple string art project and it worked nicely. But when we did a more complex one (with more nails,) it quickly split the wood. Not the fault of the product, they’re just not the best boards for string art. Still would buy again for other uses.
