03/24/23 UPDATE:I felt an update was warranted. MEKO responded to my review below and was very open about using nibs with paperfeel/matte finish screen protectors. I had been under the assumption that metal nibs would last indefinitely without consideration of the screen surface. I was uninformed and better understand the facts. The paperfeel screens do wear all nibs at a faster pace than the glass screen. It seems logical now. I can confess that I have no intention of using original nibs, or removing the Paperlike screen protector. I will simply need to regularly replace the nibs! Given my outstanding opinion of Joyce with MEKO, I will be ordering more of these.Initial Review:Absolutely love these nibs for writing on paperfeel screen protectors. It’s as close to writing on paper as I’m able to get. They are basically a broad tip- which is my preference in uniball gel pens (0.7 Med) because it writes smooth without ‘digging’ into the page. This Meko nib feels like my favorite pen.BUT! I delayed writing this review until using one. My first nib wore through tip and began losing contact with the screen when held in my usual position with the flat surface of pencil aligned with my thumb. It lasted about 14-17 days (daily use). When that one was done that quickly I waited again to see if another failed as quickly. The second lasted less time. I’m on my third (of 4 in my first package) and am anxious I need to stack up because I love the feel. I wish they lasted longer, but what to do?My rating is not a reflection of the quality of writing or drawing- that is excellent. It’s simply a little disappointment with the rate of wear.

These tips are by far the best tips I’ve used with my Apple Pencil on my iPad 4th generation! And I think I’ve bought every one that Amazon sells! It’s perfect for drawing, coloring and writing. It’s so smooth and glides right across the screen. Feels almost like a gel pen. Absolutely no drag or lag time as some other tips do. These should really only be used on tempered glass screen protectors not paper like protectors. They’ll damage the paper like material. Keeping the tempered glass screen and the tip clean is the best way to get the most out of these types of metal nibs. Enjoy!

Before purchasing MEKO, i bought a box of 40 silicone “nibs” for the pencil tip. While those worked great in noise reduction, it created SO MUCH friction which made writing (on iPad) miserable. Then i tried MEKO, it is easy to use with much less tapping noise - it’s not completely silent but enough to make a difference. I’d recommend it

I use these on a glass protector. I did notice they have more grip on the bare screen, but thought they felt sharp. I tried it on my friends paper feel and she liked it!

I purchased these for my iPad Air to use in nursing school. That being said I take a ton of notes each day on my iPad between labeling diagrams and just plain notes my apple pen gets abused. I just recently had to change the tip for the first time because my iPad was no longer reading the tip. I used one of the four provided for over a year and a half, which is amazing! The speed of writing is completely normal, and I’d argue that for the price over 5 years of use for me is totally worth it!

The media could not be loaded. Very pleased with my purchase. Not only are the tips super cute, they are very efficient. I love there is a 12 month warranty for the produce also.I just started using them so long-term, I will update the review if need be, however, I love the way the tip glides across the screen without any pulling or tugging. The tip makes the Apple Pencil stand out more and the application for the tip was very easy.

The close ups are so close that you don’t realize that this looks like a ballpoint pen in person. I thoroughly enjoy mine. It makes the iPad so quiet. No more tap, tap, tap. It always recognizes the point. There is no lag or other issues. I find it to be durable and a LOT like writing with a high quality pen. This far exceeded my expectations.

The hype on these tips was they add friction to writing on the Apple iPad so it doesn’t feel so much like hard plastic on glass. After these tips arrived I took my Apple brand tip off and put one of these on. NO DIFFERENT. I switched them around, tested the Apple brand tip, then put this tip on and tested it. Still zero difference. Also, the tip is no more accurate. My iPad has no screen cover and it is three years old.So, I have some new tips at a good price that work fine, but not as advertised. There is no additional friction using these tips.UPDATEMEKO reached out to me because of this review and offered to do whatever they could to make me happy. They offered a refund or another set of nibs. I am going to keep the nibs so I told MEKO that I didn’t need a refund or more nibs. Nonetheless, I appreciate the effort made by MEKO to make me a happy customer. Actually, I am a happy customer in spite of the fact that my nibs do not add friction to the writing experience.
