Billy JealousyHydroplane Foamless Super-Slick Mens Shave Cream

I have a circle beard, but I shave the rest of my face every other day. One bottle of this lasts me two years. I love how smoothly the razor glides over my skin. The clean-up is quick as there is very little "leftover" shaving cream after the shave. I use a safety razor and have no plans to stop using this product.

Just tried this out and I'm kind of amazed how great it was. I had about 5 days growth and have a pretty heavy beard so I was definitely putting it through a trial. I wet my face with hot water as usual and applied small amount. It didn't really look or seem that it was doing much since it doesn't foam up at all. But, upon starting, my razor went through almost effortlessly. I was surprised to say the least. Cleaning the buildup from the Razor was simple and rinsed off as normal. After, there was no irritation whatsoever.This is by far the easiest and best shaving cream/gel I've used and can't see myself going back. A small amount goes a long way even on a heavy beard to so it makes the price more bearable. I got the large bottle and that will last me a very long time.

Bought this for my husband and now it's the only shave cream he'll use. He had a problem with ingrown hair using other shave cream products but not with Billy Jealousy. Problem solved.

This Hydroplane shaving cream is phenomenal! I never heard of the brand until I read a blurb on a website citing the silicone base to this shaving cream and how it made shaving smoother.My interest was piqued two-fold. First, because I have super sensitive skin, as in I have to use pre-shave oil to lube my face before adding shaving cream. Second, from my experience using lube occasionally during sex, I know that silicone lube does not wash away when it gets wet and it is very slippery, so it seemed like it would make for a good shaving cream.And it did! This shaving cream rocks, as I already mentioned. I never have any kind of burning after I shave anymore. I’m still using the pre-shave oil, but I do not have to use a post shave calming cream anymore because Hydroplane is so smooth.I gave this stuff to my brother-in-law last Christmas (2020) and he loves it! I just inquired this Christmas about it and he said he orders it every month.So, there, you have two people in one review saying this stuff is awesome.I noticed some negative reviews and I was wondering if I was using the same product as the reviewers? No matter. Try it for yourself. If this shaving cream does not blow you away with how smooth it makes your shaving to experience then return it. But I’m betting that you will like it love it.Again, people especially with sensitive skin on your face, this is the product you need for shaving!

I have been using this stuff for years. Several years ago I went into a higher end beauty products retail location and asked if they had any Men's shaving products. The girl directed me to their men's section and pointed out the Billy Jealousy products and told me that it was the Esquire Magazines pick for the best shaving slick. I thought it was a little pricey, but I am a firm believer that you get what you pay for. I wasn't disappointed! I use a Gillette Fusion razor and I shave my face and then keep on going right up to my head. I get a smooth close shave and I have never cut myself shaving while using this product. I don't know why, but I can literally take the razor and put it on my skin and rake it back and forth and it will not cut my skin (not the shaving technique I use, but I have tested the product this way. lol)Why is this product different from other shaving creams that foam up? Traditional foaming shaving creams give you an "OK" shaving experience, but most of the time it will require multiple passes to get the close shave we all want. The only problem is that after the first pass (and definitely after the second), the lubricant that the shaving cream provides is all gone and you are scraping your blade across bare moist skin. This can lead to shaving bumps and skin irritation. (not to mention cuts and nicks). The Billy Jealousy shaving product is more of a shaving "slick" than a shaving cream. It goes on smooth and stays on until you rinse it off. You can make multiple passes (if needed) and you will still have that lubricated feel. Your blade will literally glide across your skin and prevent those shaving bumps from appearing and like I said above, no cuts or nicks!If you shave your head, I highly recommend this product! Especially in combination with one of the Gillette Fusion razors. The vibrating blade glides right across your skin and takes any and all hair with it. Best shaving experience I have ever had!

This is a household favorite for the guys and girls! Perfect for both. Nice scent. Smooth application! Makes razor glide easily. Good for sensitive skin! We love it and it’s the only shaving gel we buy!

Great shave gel in a big size

I thought I'd wait to have a few shaves before reviewing.... I normally shave using a hard soap a DE razor and badger brush.....ProsGives a very smooth shave. Noticeably so.Gives a closer shave. Again noticeable so.It's half the price though AmazonConsIt's a real razor clogger! This is not a problem for a DE razor which can be taken apart, but might be so for a disposable. The remaining gunk after a shave does not easily wash out.I prefer using a brush and soap. Massaging this quite greasy cream on is not as nice. But this is balanced with the results.If you're a DE shaver, try it.

Not the best shave 'cream' I've used. It feels 'synthetic'; it doesn't give me the sense that it benefits the skin. It feels like a wet silicone, as opposed to a more 'moisturising' cream like Molton Brown, Shiseido versions I've used before. However, it offers good glide, wets the skin well.

This performs well on a few days growth, but for everyday shaving I don't find this offers as much protection as  Anthony Shave Gel 226gm  or even  King of Shaves Alphagel Cooling Methol Shaving Gel - 150 ml .
