Great !
Very warm and offer great padding. And they last!! I've had mine for 2 years, I wear them almost daily in winter, I put them through the laundry with all my other clothes, and they are still in moderately good shape (look a bit old but no one but me sees them and they are still very solid with no thinning at wear spots). If they had neutral colors like black or grey I would be in heaven.I suspect they may not be pure wool because they have done well washed with regular laundry, but I wouldn't want pure wool anyhow. Too much hassle. Also I have a mild lanolin allergy but I can wear these against my bare skin (when I bought them I planned to wear them over cotton socks, but it turned out I didn't need to.)I bought them in a size smaller than my shoe size because I prefer overly tight socks to socks that bunch or move while exercizing, and though they looked small, they did stretch to fit nicely. That said, I think they do run true to size.

Affordable and warm
It's hard to find wool socks that are actually made with mostly wool...many other brands claim to be wool but in reality are mostly synthetic fibers with a little wool mixed in. These are 75% merino wool, which is good enough for the price. We've been buying these for over 3 years now for our kids and we love them! I get a different color for each kid so that they know whose is whose. They stand up very well to wear and tear--my son just wore a hole into one of his pairs that he's had for over 2 years. He's not gentle on his clothes either (he often wears his socks outside without shoes!) so I was impressed it had lasted that long. They're warm enough to wear just the one pair in winter temperatures. I don't give them a 5 star on comfort because my kids say they're a little itchy on the inside but they get over it and don't care. Perhaps not a great fit if your kid is sensitive to texture. Worth the price--I will keep buying these every year!

4.5 stars
They came in the cutest box - perfect for gifting. I like their thickness and how they “hug” the foot. Colors are nice (blue and green). I appreciate that they are a bit longer and cover an extra inch of the leg compared to other socks I have.If I could, I would give 4.5 stars for these reasons: 1) my children did not find it soft enough 2) the color “fades” when stretched. For less finicky people, the socks can be a nice purchase. Price is so good for the wool socks!

My son loves these but they don't hold up
My so absolutely loves these socks. They are warm and cushy and comfortable. Unfortunately they don't hold up very well. They start pilling a lot after a few washes, with big lumps of wool coming out. The elastic strings also seem to come loose frequently. He completely wore through the heels of his last 6 pairs in a few months so I hoped sizing up would help. Unfortunately I am already seeing the new 6 pairs starting to wear after only a few wears and washes. They are still great for the price, but I do wish they lasted longer!

Thick and soft!
I was hoping for a thinner stretchier sock, but these are plush and warm. My toddler can wear these in her larger waterboots, but they don't work well in her regular fitting shoes. Still a great sock and investment for colder months.

Great sock!!
What a great sock! It’s very thick and has an inner layer that’s like a puffy wool in a fabric and the outside is well made. I was a little skeptical of these socks because they weren’t a label I recognized, but I’d buy them again without hesitation. I like to consider myself picky and cheap and these are an absolute STEAL for the quality! The only ones better are Bombas when they’re in stock for the kids. I took my daughter’s boots off and her feet were damp from sweating I could tell the sock was wicking away the sweat helping to keep her temperate. So I know they did a good job. I tell everyone this about wool socks...: don’t put them in the dryer if you can avoid it. It takes away the softness and plushness of them and their ability to work like they do when you first get them. And it doesn’t take too long for them to air dry. Hope this helps!!

Perfect with my Birkenstocks and fits up to adult size 7
These are soft and a nice thickness, do not think they are too thick but perfect for keeping feet warm at home on clod wood floors or with a pair of Birkenstocks. If you buy your boots a little large to wear socks with them, these are great.I bought the large and they fit just barely on my size 7 foot which is great because I saved half the money buying children size.I will be buying more.

Great quality for the price!
I was expecting fairly basic wool socks for the prize, but was very pleasantly surprised - these are super soft, very thick and cozy, my picky kids love them, and they've held up well after a few washes. They are very nearly too small for my 11 y/o boy, who wears size 5.5 shoes, but we should get a season of use out of them. They are perfect for my 9 y/o boy with size 3 feet.
