Q: Is this a racer back?

This bra is a pull on style and does cross over on the back similar to a razor back, but it only crosses on the very bottom at the seam, it is not adjustable. Three things I do not traditionally care for. But it is surprisingly comfortable and very supportive. I run about 25 -30 miles a week and am a 36D. This bra is a keeper, while I still look for the non-razor back, non pull on style with full support;they are extremely difficult to find. I have no problem re-purchasing this bra when I need to replace an old one and cannot find my preferred style.

Q: Can anyone describe the back of this bra? Hook and eye, but pullover like a racerback? I'm confused.

The back of the bra is connected higher than the band and also has a hook and eye closure on the band. You do have to pull it over your head to get into it. The closure fastens the band area at the bottom.

Q: Does this prevent my boobs from smooshing together? I want to sleep in it & I’m a side sleeper.

This is a sturdy, tight running type of bra. I doubt it would be comfortable to sleep in.

Q: Does this bra run small?

My answer is "sort of". I bought my regular bra size and initially it felt uncomfortably tight. After 5 or 6 washes and wears, however, it loosened up a little and now fits great. If you definitely don't want it to feel tight at all, you should probably consider buying a size bigger than your normal bra size.
