Product is works great.I believe the hypromellose capsules used for this product are a substitute for the enteric coating that some other products have, and critics complain this does not.Hypromellose capsules, are designed to be acid-resistant, meaning they can withstand the acidic conditions of the stomach and release their contents in the intestines. This acid resistance is crucial for delivering sensitive ingredients like probiotics or enzymes that are vulnerable to breakdown in the acidic environment of the stomach.

I've found Nutricost supplements to offer high quality at a reasonable cost. The dosage of Serrapeptase in this product is optimal.

I typically have used 40,000 SPU product taking 1 or 2 pills. These pills work and seem to meet the advertised potency based on the use of other lower SPU products. I use them as an expectorant as it breaks down mucous. It is also seems to work as an anti-inflammatory. I will buy this again.

From what I can tell the product itself is pretty good, just not enteric coated. I haven't tried them as is - I just got my own enteric capsules and put the powder in them. I know that's more work than most people want to do, but it was still cheaper for the dosage. If I wasn't willing to do that I probably wouldn't have bought them.

When I first read about this supplement it seemed ideal. It is great for health and does a kind of blood cleansing action, removing debris within the body's blood stream, which boosts a healthier interior atmosphere for those who supplement with it. I immediately ordered it, then later found out it is not a good idea to take this supplement with any blood thinner you may be taking, such as aspirin. I often use aspiring to eliminate discomforts that are fairly chronic.I could change over to taking other pain relief, such as Ibuprofen, but that compound does not eliminate inflammation as far as I know, and is therefore not as good as aspiring to reduce pain, swelling and the resulting discomfort. If I do change to taking Ibuprofen for pain relief, I should be able to take this exciting supplement that helps the body rid itself of junk that clogs the blood stream, and in that way pollutes our internal environment, aging us as it continues to accumulate if not periodically removed.Incidentally, this supplement is found in fermented foods, and eaten often on a daily basis in Japan, a country with some of the longest lived people in the world.

I bought this as it was recommended for healing from surgery. I did some further research and saw it has a ton of great benefits BUT to get any of the benefits it has to be enteric coated. This supplement does not have enteric coating, so from the reading I’ve done the benefits of the supplement would not be realized as it would be rendered inactive by your stomach acids. I wish the manufacturer would sell in the format needed to get benefits or make a statement as to how this could work without the coating that medical sources say is necessary.
