Requires use of the JLoad junction box, sold separately. This outlet does not fit regular J Boxes. Worked well for my application. I used with the proper JLoad box and used to put AC power, ethernet, and coaxial in the same single gang outlet behind our smart tv. If you know what you're doing, it can be done with the help of some online instructional videos.

This solution is pretty slick and fit my needs for a single gang / separated voltage solution. This comes with everything you need for combination with a Hubbell RJ600 box (or floor or cabinet box).I took off one star as the connection points are fairly thin and could break if you're not super careful during installation/adjustment.HDMI Warning: Because there is a voltage divider inside the single gang box, there is little room to fit in an HDMI keystone and molded HDMI plug. I experimented with a couple different ideas, but in the end needed to use a HDMI pigtail so I could turn the cable. This is extremely tight and requires some thought.

I read the reviews before buying this and I noticed that everyone that left bad reviews it's because they did NOT read the description that you need a Hubbell-Raco 6239 box, and that is actually what I was looking for because the 6239 box comes with 2 outlets and I wanted 1 outlet and data.If you are planning to use in a regular box it will not work due to the positioning of the screws. The outlets for the 6239 box are double in price so this is a GREAT bargain!

This is not designed for the normal electrical box. On the back, it has a triangular part on top and bottom. This keeps it from sitting flat against a box/wall. Its made for specific notch in the box its made for. I took a multitool and easily cut this off. Could use a Dremel but would recommend a multitool blade. Used the blade that I use for drywall and worked great. The primary screw holes are offset, but it has screw holes that are centered for the plate cover. Basically, this has to be screwed in with the plate cover to make it work. Really this is a specialty plate and did not find any others like it. So kinda stuck if this is what you need for your project. Worked okay in the end but needs a few modifications. Would only recommend this if you are prepared to make the adjustments needed.

Screw positions outside of the specs for American gangboxes. Not a good product. Buyer beware.

I had to replace an existing power socket with a new one that had an hdmi slot. This one did not fit. The contractor had to remove the existing to put a new box and then add this. The contractor spent an extra hour just making this work.

Must be used with it's own box and box is not designed for installation into existing wall.
