VTechBaby Babble and Rattle Microphone, Pink

The media could not be loaded. I bought this for my 11 month old daughter and I just got it today, so course I played around with it to see what it all did. I was happy with the product and the color I got the pink one which is an exclusive color. It has a lot of different features such as a little spinning wheel that has pictures of animals and every time you spin it it names the animal and makes the sound of the animal. Your baby can also Babble into the microphone and it amplifies their voice. But they really have to put their mouth right by it in order to be Amplified. When your baby shakes the microphone it has some sound effects which I thought was pretty neat she loves it because she's always shaking all her toys! It has over 60 songs, sounds, melodies and phrases which is really neat! It has the four buttons one is a white dog one plays music when plays the drums and the other one plays the piano and it names all of these to teach your baby. My daughter is at the age where she just loves to talk and talk and talk so this was a great buy for her and it's easy for her to hold as it has a small part where the baby can hold it very easily, when I saw it online I wasn't sure if she would be able to hold it easily but when I received it I was relieved to find out that it would she would be able to pick up and hold it very easily! I love all VTech toys, they are very good quality and very affordable! It also has to sing along songs and 15 melodies so a lot of different music and sounds to keep your baby interested and amused! I like the little ribbons that are on either side of the microphone, just different textures and colors babies love to feel and look at! I wish I had a volume setting usually most of VTech toys have two different volume settings this one does not it just has an off switch, the microphone switch and the learning switch which has a picture of a book. But that's definitely not a deal-breaker! I would definitely recommend this toy it says it's for 3 months and over but I don't think my daughter would have been interested in it at 3 months to be honest but each baby is different.

The media could not be loaded. This is one of the best toys that we have bought for our 1 year old baby girl. Lots of different animal sound, my daughter loves pressing "the dog button", she also loves talking into the microphone. It is not a loud or a real microphone which you can sing karaoke with but sufficient enough to make baby and mama happy. Comes with batteries which is a plus and there's a string that attached to the battery cover so it will not get lost.Great buy for us, I would recommend.

This toy is durable and easy to use. Easy for little hands to hold on to. But the volume is loud on it.

I really like this microphone more when I got it home then when looking at it online which usually doesn’t happen. It’s very durable and nice quality for the price. There’s a lot of buttons, noises and different settings. Both my four year old and one year old like to play with this.

VTech Baby Babble and Rattle Microphone is a definite buy! My daughter received this as a gift for her first birthday decided to throw it in the tub so i purchased a replacement. Let me tell you don't ever try to pull it from her hands even if you think she won't notice when she is sleeping. She plays with it so much I am learning all of the noises by heart. It does all the animal noises, plays music and, of course, is a microphone. She loves this toy and plays with it all the time. It is definitely a lifesaver at times. My other children, who are 5 and 7, play with it as well. It is for smaller children, but of course older children love to play with it also. So I definitely recommend this toy!!!! Now she has watched the other kids sing into it like a microphone and she believe she is the next Beyonce even though she doesn't even know who that is. I love the versatility of it for a little kid and it keeps her very much so entertained. So like I have said before a happy child makes for a happy parent.

I mean maybe it’s fun for a kid but as a parent I dislike it. So many noises all at once, all trying to override each other - it doesn’t make sense- you can’t establish cause and effect or hear yourself in the microphone over all the meowing and drumming etc. Also pretty heavy, definitely not for a baby or younger toddler.
