I've bought these over and over and over. They are great, strong magnets that won't get shaken off.Makes mounting fans so much easier as long as you have a steel case. Put fans exactly where you need them.You can use these with a magnesium or aluminium case as well with some steel washers and a dab of super glue, or you can find magnetic pads with adhesive on them... this might sound like a lot but is better than drilling holes IMO.

Hooked up 2 120mm fans on my computer case on the top side (whoever designed it *coughTHERMALTAKEcough* made it to where you can access the screws up top to screw in any kind of fans) So i grabbed these and just used the bar its suppose to "clip" to and the magnets are strong enough for them to be running full blast and not fall off!!!might grab me a few more so i have some as backup's for when im out doing computer work

The magnets are very weak. They will hold a fan, just don't bump them. All 4 magnets are essential to get a good hold on the metal.

Extremely useful for affixing newer fans in older or different cases. If they made an “L” version that turned 90 degrees so you could affix fans horizontally, wow that would be swell. In the meantime, Velcro also serves a similar function

I'm glad this product exists. The use cases are kinda niche, but when you need it, you need it!My use was for a pair of 4U ATX rackmount servers in my garage that were "mysteriously" crashing on the hottest days. I'd already upgraded all the fans, overall airflow seemed fine, and none of the components that can report temperatures were getting close to max temps, but not every critical component reports temps and desktop-style ATX boards aren't laid out to channel airflow front-to-rear.I used these to add an extra 120mm fan to the side of the cases, ahead of the power supply, aimed at the area around the CPU and RAM that is dense with VRMs and other components. Seems to have done the trick — we had some more very hot says in September with no crashes!

Strong enough to hold the fans on Max rpm. They add a little hight so that can be good or bad depending on how much room you have. I like it. My only small concern would be the pack size. Fans have 4 screws and these come 10/ pack.

These were a great set of screws, but before they arrived, I got another solution, and returned these. If you're seeking some screws with a nice magnetic base, though, these are going to do a great job!

My PCs cooler radiator and case predrilled vents have never lined up. Have had to McGyver fixes. Not anymore. These babies let me move fans around as needed. And, 2 magnets are strong enough to keep top mounted fans in place. Might order several more of these.

Magnetic is strong, can any place install fan. I'm very happy
