Beadaholique English 4-Piece Beading Needles, Size 12

I received exactly what I ordered and the needle seems to be sturdy enough for something that thin. It slips through the beads wonderfully with room to spare.I haven't been able to use it with thread yet because the thread I ordered for it (a FireLine Braided Bead Thread in 0.006in Extra Fine, from another dealer) was not the one I got. I received a regular sized thread and it wouldn't fit the needle. I had to make some other purchases that took priority so the replacement thread was put on the back burner; but I will update as soon as I order another one.

Not the most durable, and all I use them for is beading. But I guess that is to be expected from such small needles. Ordering more.

Fine, flexible, strong. Smooth without any burrs, slides through even the smallest of beads.

These needles are strong and flexible with a good sized eye for easy threading. I was leery of the small size because some size 12 needles I bought from a craft store cracked right away. (Not English beading needles.) I will continue to use this size and this brand as they go through the project easier and now I'm not worried about breaking.

Disappointed. Not sure if this was a bad batch or what, I had 3 needles actually break in half while stitching a beaded bracelet project. In fact, have never had a needle break on me in the past -- and to have it happen 3 times one week... I was not putting unusually extra stress on these needles while making a loosely stitched pattern. When I switched to another brand, finished the second half of the project with no problem (am using the same "other brand" needle in a new project now.)

good needles, work just like i need

These are excellent beading needles. The size 12 will fit through size 15-0 beads, while the more sturdy size 11 needle sometimes won't. And the size 12 needles don't break as often as the size 13...but they will break eventually, and they do develop a bend with use. No way to avoid that.

I don't know if I got a bad batch, but my needles break as I am taking them out of the package, and also when I am using them. I do not think they were a good deal bearing that fact.
