South Park: Season 13 [Blu-ray]

What can I say usual crazy, wild, funny etc epos. This season is I think a little more fun to watch because it is uncensored no bleeping out stuff.

I was seriously considering ending my South Park collection at 12, but when I saw this on Gold Box recommendation for 18 bux, I decided to get it.It was well worth continuing the collection at that price, and I was surprised that this season was a bit funnier than the last one. "Fish Sticks", "Butter's Bottom Biitch", and "WTF" were funny. Other episodes had funny parts to them like the way the alien talked in "Pinewood Derby".Some episodes, like "Whale Whores" start out funny, but fall into the trap of repeating the same joke until it isn't funny anymore. Just like last season, the plots are heavily reliant on movie plots, and while it can be funny to satirize movies, again they seem caught up in telling stories instead of jokes. "The Coon" had some funny parts to it, but it's almost like they are taking themselves seriously, which is kind of weird. Kind of like they wish they could make an action movie like Batman.South Park isn't very subtle in their message, and it can be a bit annoying at times. Whereas some shows might hint at something like Disney being evil, and get on with the jokes, South Park bombards you with the same message again and again. They even have the mouse give a big speech at the end about how stupid people are, just in case you missed it the first hundred times.I never liked the part at the end during any season, where it was time to learn a lesson, and the characters speak directly to you in case you are really dense. I appreciate that Matt and Trey have their own unique opinions, but the show assumes an air that their opinions are right, and that they have to prove it to you takes away from the comedy.I've read reviews about both this show and The Simpsons (another show I like a lot) where people bemoan how the series has long passed its heyday. I would disagree with this nostalgia, and argue that a season can still be good, and doesn't have to have a golden period. Still funny after all these years.

I’ve loved South Park since my 17th birthday and first time I’d seen Mr. Hankey. I can honestly say this season is one of the best. The Ring, the F word, Fatbeard and Fishsticks are my fav in this season. Matt and Trey are geniuses!

Got it for my daughter she loves it, DVD isn't scratched and plays smoothly.

Needed some type of formatting to watch the dvd's. I don't know why #13 was so different, but got a message that the dvd was not in the right format to watch it.

Simpson's and other show's have nothing on South Park! They hit every current situation spot on, with the best comedy ever! The character's rule! You must complete the whole series! You will be rolling with tears laughing, if you have humor and understand current events! Love the humor, anyone with a brain gets South Park and the events on the way they handle them:) BEST

The South Park production team never runs out of lifestyle groups to lampoon - in this series they hammer Harley bikers, Japanese whalers, and Purity Ring devotees. The scripts are always witty and full of movement, and characters become more and more polarised as time goes by. Some may view the simplistic animation style with doubt, but this often allows us to see deeper without distractions, and over the years it has improved noticeably. Deffinitely still holding its own again more recent pretenders like Family Guy and American Dad, whose comic values are a lot less subtle.

As a 40 yr old, struggling to find comedy of real merit on TV, I find South Park's no-holds-barred approach to satire utterly refreshing (still). This series has many hilarious episodes. It simply delivers lots of laughs through all three disks.

Anyone with any ounce of human decency will find this widely offensive, crude, very rude and just stupid comedy.I love it so I don't know what that says about me.
