The media could not be loaded. I got this as a gift for my son for his upcoming birthday. Very thoughtfully put together - I love that it includes a tuner, extra strings and a neck strap. I love the turquoise color! The wood is very light weight and I'm a little nervous to hand it over to my preschooler, but that would be the case for any instrument...! So far it has stayed in tune nicely, which can be troublesome for ukuleles in this price range. it's super fun to play, good sound. Strings it comes with say they are Aquila, but the additional strings don't seem to have a brand. This is a good choice for kids or for beginning ukulele players as a first instrument to try out.

Nice looking, love the color teal. Seems like it will last and was very easy to tune. AND it stays in tune very well. Good price.

Fast shipping, really cute looking and I was totally surprised by how beautiful the sound is. After a few days of practicing with the included tutorial book and online resources, I can now play a few songs!! This instrument was a great hit for Christmas. My grandson loved it and is taking lessons with it; it's beautiful, well made, and reminds us all of our memories of Hawaii!

I bought this ukulele for my sisters birthday and it turned out one of the strings buzzed. so I fiddled around with it and tried to prop it up with stuff to fix it, and eventually I managed to fix the string for her by propping up the strings on a tooth pick and popsicle stick. two days later the base the strings are attached to popped off completely and ruined the strings and the rest of the ukulele as well. so please heed my warning and DO NOT BUY THIS UKULELE!!!!!!!

I bought this to replace a disappointing ukulele from Memorex that I got as a Christmas present--no worries, I knew I was getting it because my daughter wanted me to learn with her. Anyway, everything I received worked without problems, and everything was packaged quite nicely (there was even an included battery for the tuner!).While I'm only a beginner, I do have some musical background. I can say that it feels solid (not cheap in any way) and it holds its tuning surprisingly well. I couldn't find any defects (finish, assembly, etc.). However, do NOT read the instruction manual; it will give you a headache and some laughs at the same time! There are lots of free resources on the internet to start playing.I'd definitely purchase one of these again.
