Q: Will the XL fit my husband who wears a size 13 narrow shoe?

I really doubt it. I wear a 10.5 or 11 depending on brand of shoe and I think my feet are right at the limit of fitting well. Having said that they do work well on me and I do like them but I don't see who they could work on someone with bigger feet.

Q: what is the length of these from heel to top/knee? Or from toe to top? I have short legs.

The length from the heel to my knee is 15" . Hope this helps you.

Yes I love the socks. I Purchased another brand and they were harder to get on and off but these are soft and feel good on my feet yet they give me the support I need. I am 80 years old and they work very well for me. The seam on the toes is soft. This is the only brand I will buy from now on.
