This stethoscope offers a fantastic value for the price. Although I originally bought it for an engineering project, I also tested it for its intended purpose. Sounds are clear and loud enough to hear the intricacies of both my heartbeat and my breaths, and it feels well-built. It also includes extra ear tips, bells, and diaphragms, making it very versatile. It's a bit on the heavier side, but after changing the ear tips it's decently comfortable to use for an extended period. This seems like a no-brainer for anyone seeking a basic but very functional and reliable stethoscope.

I am a retired Registered Nurse from a trauma hospital. I needed this stethoscope for my own personal use at home and I must say I am very happy with the quality of this stethoscope and for the money you just can not beat the price. Would recommend this stethoscope to anyone working in the medical field or not, you simple cannot go wrong with this item.

This product works really well for our needs. I am not a medical student. I have very little medical training (CPR, First Aid, AED, and Oxygen... none of the big stuff.) I simply have a toddler who HATES going to the doctor's office. So I had the radical idea that maybe if he experienced the same non threatening experiences at home, he might be a little less traumatized when he experiences the same things at the doctor's office. I'll let you know how that goes next month. So far, this stethoscope has a clear sound and it is durable enough to withstand a seventeen month old little boy. I purchased another, lighter weight stethoscope for my son to use while I practiced listening to his lungs and heart with this one. Our plan is to bring his with us to the doctor's office. The link to that one is listed below. That one is definitely of a lesser quality, but it works and it is excellent for a toddler or child to use. I am a horse midwife and teach others how to take their horse's vitals so they can communicate better with their veterinarian and identify problems earlier. Trying to find an affordable stethoscope that is also quality enough for beginners to use is difficult... I can barely use most of the cheapos out there. These, however, are amazing! I still cannot believe the quality you get for the price. I bought the purple ones to use in the foaling kits I give to my clients and they're just perfect for an introductory stethoscope. Better than some of my personal ones that were expensive! Hope to buy more of these again for future clients. My only complaint is the hard ear pieces but they do the job.

Pros:-Very cheap.-Interesting color.Cons:-Poor sound quality.-Very cheap build. The rubber tubing is unevenly cut, ect.-FALLS APART. Much could be forgiven but this stethoscope completely fell apart less than 2 weeks into use.I was tempted by the low price and bright color, but I would NOT recommend this stethoscope to any user.

It's a good stethoscope, but heavy. I can hear lungs, heart sounds clearly, just like with my Littmann, which is far more expensive.I like the color as well. Everyone at work has blue/black stethoscope so this is easy to spot. I like it.Four star because it is heavy. But auscultation is pretty good.

it works and is really cool and I originally got it as a kid nabber hod wild animal vet, all thou sum times it is hard to here my dog or cats heart rate but thats Because they move around a LOT! but you can change the volume and they wore both normal heart rates, now you mite have a different ickspereont with it but that was mine :]

He tenido distintos estetoscopio en mi ya dilatada vida profesional. Empecé con un Littmann siendo estudiante, el cual me sustrajeron y fue cuando tuve ocasión (a principio de los 80) de probar un estetoscopio como este, importado entonces de Japón que costaba sólo 700 pesetas. Cuando murió de viejo tuve un Littmann Cardiology, único estetoscopio que en mi opinión supera a este. Éste también me "desapareció" y como eran tan caros los Cardiology compré otro Littmann, entonces llamado Classic porque no encontraba en aquel momento uno tipo Rappaport. Cuando al final puede hacerme con otro tipo Rappaport volví a usarlo como primera opción dejando el Littman Classic para uso fuera del hospital. A mis hijas también les compré este estetoscopio cuando empezaron sus prácticas y también como yo lo prefieren al Littman Classic. En conclusión este es un gran estetoscopio a un precio increíble por su calidad, solamente superado por el Littman Cardiology. Si no te compras el Cardiology, mejor éste que un Littman Classic.
