While the picture quality is pretty good, this was not user friendly to set up/activate due to poor instructions. Also, the app has to reload every time you use a diff screen on your phone which isn't efficient.

I would not purchase this camera. I was so happy with it until I left the house and checked it and I was watching some one that had bars up and didnt speak english so I have no idea where in the world it was recording but I am sure people could see into my home as I could into wherever I was looking in. It would at times show my house but most of the time it showed this other place. CREEPY!!! I unplugged it as soon as I got home and returned it.

This video camera has a great picture but it tends to move on its own. You also can't change the password. Otherwise, I would have given it 5 stars.

Piece of junk typical overstock crap Amazon will sell for cheap because it is cheapWhatever you do, don’t lose your password or let it fall off your WiFi... you’ll never recover use of them a cam... the reset for button is non functional as there’s no reset button inside to reset the cam...

Initially 1 star. I'm a novice but so far this camera is not connecting with my laptop, not easy so far. I've tried the suggested command prompt settings with no change. Will be happy to update my review if some good instructions that helps comes along. Doesn't seem to be much help out there for this camera. Bought the camera based on the reviews so far but...2/26/2017 Upgrading my review from the 1 star to 3 stars. The camera may qualify for another upgrade but I want to give it a week or 2 first. My initial issue after loading the software was getting a connection with the laptop PC. I could not get the laptop to connect to the camera, the message was "camera not online." However once I loaded the software and connected on my android phone it suddenly appeared on the laptop too. Looks as if the laptop will not connect to the camera until the phone is connected first. As far as loading software and connecting with the android phone, it was easy. Now for the operational part.3/5/2017 I would like to but can't bring myself to move upward from the three stars. The camera is a good one. If you are using the camera with the smartphone only (mine is android) it could be another star or two. However I'm a bit disappointed in the operation with the PC software (MonitorClient.) The PC seems only to get a live stream from the camera. You can do the control (pan and tilt etc.) but no ability to go back and review the TF card or schedule recordings etc. using a Windows 10 laptop. Additionally the PC did not even connect to the camera until after the smartphone was connected. If you're going to use the camera with only a PC you may want to do some more checking first as my success with a PC was not satisfactory.Pros: *Good price for the product *Very good picture/video including night vision *No connection issues (except as stated with the PC) *Consistent operation *A 64GB TF card holds several days (about a week) of recordingCons: *PC software not fully usable *Finding and transferring video from the TF card to other areas for storage etc. is a bit unorganized. The files are labeled differently once the TF card is in the PC so have to search for the video to be transferred.July 24 2017 The camera no longer works. had issues with the camera losing connections. One morning found the camera pointing up and does not do anything but the green light is on, that's it.

it worked great for about 2 months. now wont connect to wifi

I returned this product because I could never get it to connect to wi-fi.

could't get it to work properly...it was picking up some conversations in an Asian language?? We sent it back and got an American made product
