Does not work at all for defrosting or heating blows out cold air

My defroster has been in it's way out for a few months, but living in Southern California, having one is only necessary about a month each year. I was pretty disappointed that for the price, it's very generic. It certainly won't replace a heater/fan. But in a pinch, it defrosts my windshield really well. And slightly faster than my built in ever did.
