I bought this kinetic rope to have with me on my Rzr! I have used this rope three times so far to tow others out of the woods. Unlike tow straps this rope take up the slack and prevents those head jerking moments when the slack is out of a regular tow strap. It has held up well and I did use it to yank o e guy out of the mud instead of winching. Would buy again!

I keep this in my SxS and it works great as a tow rope and a recovery rope. I've used this numerous times and it's worked great every time.

For anyone going off road, a 'kinetic' recovery rope is a must. It's lighter and more flexible than a tow strap. More importantly, it STRETCHES (up to ~30% in extreme case, but usually less than 10%). That makes a huge difference.Regular tow straps have virtually no stretch. In order to prevent damage to the strap and attachment points, all slack has to be slowly taken up before pulling. In contrast, kinetic ropes offer permit a running start to yank a vehicle into motion without damage. Kinetic extraction uses the vehicle's momentum, which greatly amplifies the pull force.Even when just towing, slack periodically occurs when the lead vehicle slows down, rounds a corner, or goes down a hill. When the tow vehicle suddenly draws the line taught, even 6 inches of 'give' will be appreciated. Conversely, regret may follow when there's no give, when the line or mounting point snaps.
