Nice shoe, durability is a concern
I was looking to explore some of the "minimalist" shoe options out there and came across this brand that was rated pretty well. I liked the look of the shoe and they were only about $40 so the investment was minor. The Positives:-- The shoe came very quickly and fit as expected! I typically wear a size 10, that is what I ordered, and length wise it fit great. It does take some getting used to the "extra" room in the toe box due to the extra width there. But once you start wearing them and your feet learn to adjust, they were fine.-- Bottoms are super grippy and have a lot of traction as you can see from the pic-- Loved the color. They looked just like their pictures when I got them.-- Very flexible and have a "minimalist" feel to them compared to my normal shoes-- I have been able to run and workout in these shoes with no problem. Like I said previously, mostly just the adjustment period of getting used to a wider shoe. You kind of feel like your foot is sliding around in the toe box initially. Sock make a bit of difference here too.The Negatives:-- The primary, and at this point, only negative is quality. I have had these shoes for only about 3 weeks and as you can note from the last picture, the lace pulled right through the rubber lace hole. Currently no other areas that are defective or coming apart. The fortunate piece to this is that these shoes have so many other holes farther down that I was able to just re-lace it on a lower hole. I have been able to keep using the shoe for running and workouts. Not sure if or when there will be other areas that become defective that will render the shoe useless, time will tell. But for now, they are functioning as advertised.Final thought:-- If you are considering getting into the minimalist shoe game and are hesitant to start out on a name brand that costs triple to quadruple what these cost, this is a great low investment way to go to trial it.As the saying goes, "you get what you pay for". Quality and durability may be in question here but for the price, I'm not overly butt hurt if I only get a few months out of these shoes.Depending on how these hold up with general use over the next few months, I would consider these successful and would purchase again.

Pretty Cool
I bought these to hopefully fix shin and knee pain from jogging, by eliminating the heel strike and consequently strengthening my calves. So far it feels like I am on the right track. Yesterday I did some run/walk intervals on a treadmill and could feel my calves burning (in a good way). Sore today (in the good way). No knee soreness from said run and there was less shin pain during the workout. I can tell it’s only going to get better. The shoes run about true to size, but my outer foot up to my pinky toe feels crammed. I’m a 12.5, and it doesn’t look like these come in 13. 13.5 sounds too big of a jump. My big toes have a lot of room to spread out. I found I can’t wear socks as that made it feel too tight. They look pretty cool as far as athletic shoes go. The lace lock and Velcro work well so far. Even if they fail, can just tie the laces. Overall I’m happy with them.

Excellent shoes for trying out barefoot shoes.
They are very comfortable and fit great. And at the price point it's an amazing bargain. I bought these just to try out some barefoot shoes and see if I could tolerate it or not and I've been wearing them for a few months now for all of my workouts and they are absolutely awesome it almost feels like you're wearing socks but with a rubber bottom excellent for people who don't want to feel like they have big clunky cumbersome shoes on their feet and just want a little protection for the bottom of their feet. Impossible to regret at this price point.

After 6 months review
After learning how important a good pair of shoes are for your posture and back heath I decided to try this shoes which allows your feet to keep the natural grip.I’m a hiker. I hike up to the mountains everyday. My hike usually lasts almost 2 hours. These shoes were able to sustain my daily hikes for more than 6 months since purchased, which makes them very durable. At first it was a bit uncomfortable since I was not used to the zero drop but I got used to it. After one week of used it became my number one shoes for hiking. The sole is very flexible. The material that is made off allows your feet to air out.I bought a pair for my wife and for my daughter. We are all in love with this shoes. If you are tired of shoes that squeezes your toes and ruin your feet, potentially your back, Try these shoes out. They are becoming very popular among athletes for a good reason.

Love them and true to size
These shoes are amazing especially for the price. I slipped my foot in the shoe and felt immediate comfort. I will definitely be ordering additional pairs. The wide toe box feels amazing. This is my first time trying these type of shoes but love them. Only con is the tongue needs a little more padding. If like my shoes tight and snug but if I over tighten the cables dig in to the top of my foot. I will be using these in a Spartan ultra. I will update on how they hold up.

Tough Mudder 5K Tested
In preparation for the tough Mudder I came across these shoes. They were on sale for $45 and figured I’d give these a try. They are perfect for around the house and taking the dogs out first thing so I got use to having them the weeks leading up to the mud run.I’ll start by saying I noticed there were several people at the start line that had used duck tape to fasten their shoes to their ankles. Curious how that played out for them??? Anyway, I took off in these shoes and once I get to the first obstacle they are submerged and soggy but light weight enough they really didn’t slow me down. I also noticed right off that my feet sunk much deeper in this mud than I expected. This made me very conscious of my shoes and knew if I were to lose one I’d be done for the day. They shoes held up as advertised and only really had one issue and that was when I was climbing down the Mudhorn obstacle. Not sure why it was different than the climb up but it was and on the way down it was a little painful on my feet. All in all I would not hesitate to use this brand of shoe again for other OCR events.I’m curious how well they clean up so more details to come.UPDATE: —- I think these things cleaned up pretty good and would last through at least another event if not more.

Updated - Initial Size Impressions
These are my first barefoot inspired shoes and I'm very excited to take the plunge. I've yet to do anything strenuous with them, but I'll update my review when I do. I want to talk about sizing first and foremost. I wear a 10.5 shoes so I ordered a size down like the product page suggested. They fit fairly well, but there are a few issues which really makes me wish half sizes were an option. First off, the toe box could be larger. My big toe has some room to move, but my pinky toe feels squished like a regular shoe. Also, the fit is quite tight with the provided insole. I took the insole out and it's an improvement, but I don't think that's the best solution for a new product. Unfortunately, Due to this tightness I don't think I'll be able to wear socks or toe spreaders.Update: I'm pretty impressed after wearing these for a while and going for some walks on the trail. I replaced the original sole with a very thin one and it feels much better. I've had pain issues in my feet when walking for the last couple years, and these alleviate many of the sore spots. For the most part I love how these shoes fit, but I still feel the toe box needs to be slightly wider and a 10.5 option. There's one other aspect that might be an issue, or perhaps I'm just adjusting to barefoot shoes. On the tread design there's a circular kind of pattern right on the ball of my foot, when I step heavy I feel it right through my shoe. I've noticed that after a long walk it starts to bother the joint in that spot.
