Introduction To Search And Rescue

A good book, well written and informative. I think it covers at least 80% of what you need to know to be part of a team. It also is useful for anyone planning trips into the wilderness.

Got the book for the NASAR SarTech III test. Very helpful in that regard. Gave it 4 stars because the actual test format needs a bit of tinkering by NASAR

If you are looking to pass your SARTECH III this is the book, it was a little cheaper here than NASAR and I have prime so I got it here, but it is the same book you will need to pass the sartech. It contains great information on search and rescue and leaves you wanting for more, which Is why I suggest buying it with the FUNSAR manual. Eric H Martin does a great job instructing us on the basics of SAR operations, chain of command and other great information.

This is simply a must have for anyone in Search and Rescue. I will continue to use this as a refresher from time to time. Anyone planning on taking the NASSAR testing must have this book.
