Without a doubt my Hayden M6 primary chain tensioner works great, but after only 5,000 miles the shoe (which is made from what appears to be either nylon or delrin and is the part that makes constant contact with the chain) appeared to have excessive wear. I fully realize this may be nothing more than the original shoe seating itself against the chain, but just in case, I felt I'd better have a replacement on hand the next time I pull the primary case.
