Upon opening the shipping box, I found the seal and the cover to the bone broth container had come off and there was bone broth powder loose in the box. Product quality has been compromised and I will need a replacement ASAP.Update: I am happy to say that the seller was very quick to respond to my dilemma by email and sent a replacement within just a couple of days. Since this is also the first time trying this protein powder, I'm also happy to say that the chocolate flavored powder is very tasty and dissolves well in my smoothies. This brand also has all the health benefits I was looking for in a gluten free, dairy free protein powder.

Opening it looked like someone's left overs. Packaging is way to big.Flavor is ok, I got the chocolate and it's a very lightly flavored. I used about 8 oz of water to mix. We'll see if it helps

I love the flavor, but I doctor it up too. I add Worcestershire, soy sauce, salt, pepper, "better than bouillon" beef and chicken.You need to use a magic bullet or blender like thing, it can't be stirred, it's an extremely fine powder. It expands too and makes a lot of foam. I don't skim the foam, eventually it dissolves in about 5 minutes. I use hot water and drink it scalding hot.This is my daily breakfast and is around 5 carbs hopefully. I have lost 28 pounds in two months following the keto diet and I need the protein. My skin and hair are much nicer but that could be due to other factors.It tastes like good beef stew juice.I won't tell you how I cook it because it's pretty dangerous but you can do it. I'm on my 3rd container now and strongly recommend this product.

I like this product and have noticed a nice change in my hair, skin, and nails. However, I don't think it's 100% tasteless, like some reviews claim, which was the selling point for me. To me, it leaves a little bit of a salty aftertaste in my drink. It's tolerable but definitely noticeable. I also don't think it's 100% dissoveable, but rather takes some effort to dissolve. While most of it does dissolve quickly in hot drinks, after mixing the powder into a drink, globs of powder float to the top and take a little more effort to dissolve. It is much harder to dissolve in colder drinks, in my opinion. Overall though, I don't love but I do like this product very much.

I haven't used the product long enough to give a definitive rating on its overall effectiveness, but I can say three things:1.) My nails are growing faster.2.) This powder dissolves well.**Note: I find that mixing it with a little liquid first and then adding your remaining liquid works quite well. Clear liquids will initially be cloudy, but will then return to its original clarity. FYI - I've only actually used a spoon to mix; no blender or shaker bottles. There may be a few tiny clumps, but I just use the back of my spoon to mash them against the side of my glass or mug. Funny thing is, twice I've actually put a full scoop of the collagen powder in a little liquid and totally forgot about it...came back some time later and the entire scoop of powder that was left floating on top of the liquid had completely dissolved. No mixing, no stirring, no clumps and both water and apple juice were totally clear both times that I've accidentally done this. The powder fully dissolved on its own while being left to sit at room temp.**3.) Customer service rocks!**Note: I received a container whose inner seal was partially lifted/broken. Well, I was a bit leery about using it, so I emailed the company and received a reply shortly thereafter. Not only were they understanding and empathetic, but they were already working to remedy any recurrence by adding a second layer of tamper resistance . . . an outer shrink wrap film or as they called it - a neck wrap. The company kept me updated and notified me when my replacement order shipped. I received my new container, free of charge, and in a timely manner; complete with its brand new outer shrink wrap for the cap and neck. The inner seal was also intact. I was quite pleased and impressed.**

I have been taking this collagen for six months. I wanted to wait a reasonable time to see if it was really helping. I have noticed my digestive issues with IBS have disappeared (major benefit), and my hair is definitely showing signs of growth. My husband started taking it and he notices a difference in his skin and his knee pain is minimal now. I like that this is hydrolyzed, that they list the types of peptides it contains, that it is made in the US, the price is reasonable, it dissolves easily and has no taste. I tried another brand when we were on an extended RV trip but will definitely stick with Cognitune. I can't say enough good about it and won't be without it. Thank you Cognitune for a quality product. Update 9-20-19 The last 3 containers I received were Lot No. 31906084, Expires 06/2021. I had complained about the smell and taste of the last 2 shipments I received and asked if the formula had changed, I was told it had not changed and was given a refund. The one I received today is the same lot number and I see another customer has complained about this lot number. I won't be taking this collagen anymore since I feel there is a bad batch that is still being sent out. Someone needs to check into this at Cognitune.

I bought this for my thinning hair. I'm seeing some new growth, but it's too early to tell how much it's helping. However, I have noticed a huge improvement to my s£× drive.. Since I had my son, I've struggled with it.Doctors can't find anything wrong and other methods I've tried haven't helped much. About 2 weeks after I started putting this in my coffee I noticed a big improvement. The powder dissolves easily and doesn't have a bad taste.
