Sadly, such a great way to dispense cream, but SO environmentally unfriendly.
I'm torn on this review because I love and hate this product. Here's why:PROS: one thing I hate about cream in jars is getting it up my fingernails or having to use a plastic sort of stick to dip into the product. This cream is different because it has an ingenius dispensing system where you push down on the top and the cream comes out and you wipe it with a finger and no waste, no fighting. The cream itself is lovely. Smells good and feels good on the skin; absorbs immediately and is non greasy. Those are the good points. Now theCONS: for under 2 oz of product, the amount of plastic packaging to dispense this tiny amount of cream is obscene. I just can't justify buying something like this due to this issue. I think we all really have to think about what we buy and send a message to manufacturers. ESPECIALLY guilty of this type of packaging is the beauty industry. Terrible to package .5 oz of something in a 4 oz plastic container, for example. So that's the reason for my 3 star. I was tempted to give 2, but the cream is good, so leaving it at a 3.

Absorbs quickly. I'm seeing light anti-aging benefits. Far to0 light for dry skin in winter.
I used this cream for 2 months, from late summer into early winter, which came earlier than usual here. In the warmer months, I was very pleased with it. While it's not terribly emollient, it does hydrate well in humid weather and absorbs quickly. But even in the fall, my skin would start to feel dry again by the evenings. By the time we turned on the heat, my skin felt dry within a couple of hours of use, and after about a week, I had to switch to a richer cream. So if you have really dry skin like me, this may only suit you in warmer weather. That said, I did see some very light improvement to the lines around my eyes in that two months, though my forehead and mouth look the same. With most creams, I seldom see any improvement beyond the short-term general benefits of hydration, but my eyes look a teeeeeeny bit smoother after 2 months of this. I don't think I'm just being optimistic, because my skin is actually a bit less hydrated than I like with this product, but still looks a bit smoother. Usually less hydration = Cryptkeeper skin on me.The jar is very hygienic, releasing cream through a silicone-covered valve when you press on it, so your fingers only touch the cream you're using, and it's not exposed to air or environmental bacteria. I found one pump to be adequate for my face, but seldom was there enough leftover for my neck (this cream doesn't go as far as some; usually with this type of packaging, the pump is plenty for face and neck). I used it twice daily (morning and evening) for 8 weeks, and the jar is not yet empty, though it's impossible to tell how much is left. The scent is pleasant and light. I'm not wild about scented cosmetics, but it wasn't objectionable to me.Me: 48 with very dry skin, light lines around eyes, forehead, and mouth. They're light when I'm well hydrated and look pretty terrible when my skin dries out. Moisturize twice daily, sunscreen in the warmer months, when I'll be outside, or if I'm using a retinol. Wash twice daily with warm water only. Occasionally use an extra serum or eye cream, but generally like a very simple routine. Daily, I typically wear no makeup or just mascara. Occasionally, I wear a primer (prefer colorless to tinted) on my skin when I'm feeling haggard or it's a special occasion. :)

Hydrates Dry Skin Well But Not Greasy Or Heavy- Mild Fragrance & Doesn’t Irritate My Sensitive Skin
I'm in my 50's with dry, sensitive skin. The Ultimate Hydrating Hypervitamin Cream by Beautybio is a wonderful face cream. It’s a white cream that’s fairly thick and rich enough for my dry skin, but it’s not a heavy or greasy cream. It hydrates my skin exceptionally well. I've been using it every night and on days when I won’t be out in the sun (it has no SPF), and this cream makes my skin look and feel amply hydrated all day or night. My skin feels so soft and comfortable, and my fine lines look less noticeable. This cream has a mild, pleasant fragrance that doesn’t trigger any allergies, nor does this cream irritate my sensitive skin. This Beautybio cream absorbs quickly even when I apply it over a face serum, and it doesn’t interfere with my makeup application. It has the antioxidant retinyl palmitate- which has proven benefits- but opinions are mixed as to the risks of getting sun exposure while using a product with retinyl palmitate. It’s worth reading about for those using this cream while getting sun exposure. While I have used this Beautybio cream with a sunscreen during the day, I usually apply a day cream with enough SPF if I anticipate sun exposure and use this cream at night. This is a high quality hydration cream that I’ll continue to use. No parabens are listed. Love it. 5 stars.
