BranditMen's M-65 Giant Jacket

No inside pockets,but great quality and warmth! A little snug for Americans, but I squeezed in nice!

There are enough reviews written about these. Lengthy ones too. What is it? It is a great utility jacket with great lining. Made from the general blueprints of the M65 jacket. A variations on the theme, if you wish. Very comfortable to wear, lining is warm and the "zip in" feature is a blessing. In my experience they do run a bit big, not sure how it connects with the name "Giant", but I usually wear Large and in this case, Medium fits me perfect. Snug with the liner, but it is what it is supposed to be. Zippers are great, both inner and outer. Pockets are good and easy to access. Everything is on snaps, which reduces number of these annoying buttons to 3 on the back of the liner. Another smart modification! Buttons are on the liner, not the jacket itself. What is it not? It is not an authentic military M65 jacket. No sir! The color and the material are not the same. If you want an authentic M65, go to ebay and you might be in luck buying one in decent shape. With some blood stains, if you are extra lucky :)Questionable features: It is made in China. But if you buy the most expensive, so-called "authentic" M65 jacked from Alpha Industries, where to you think these are made? You guessed correctly! In China. Read their web site. Decorative stuff - like "Brandit" and M65 Giant" strips and these annoying cross-Z stitching. Fashion statements by Brandit, I guess . I easily took the text strips off and stitching is not that noticeable. Zipper on the wrong side? I am not sure. I own several jackets with zipper on either side. One thing I noticed is that it is a matter of logic and convenience. Most people take a fixed small piece and put it into a slider. So, if you are a right-handed person, it is more convenient to have slider on the left and fixed narrow piece on the right. It is great tor what it is, do not expect it to be what it is not.
