***** UPDATE *****Had to cut the lock open with bolt cutters today as it would not unlock anymore using the watch app with my phone in the gym locker. And the NFC tag would not work either. Lock would beep once when activated then blink rapidly. Attaching a USB battery did not change anything (Battery read 68%) when I unlocked it.This was the second failure after the last iOS and App update the app would not even recognize the lock and crash all the time. Luckily the NFC tag worked as a backup in that case. I emailed, called and sent a support request from the web page got no response and the phone number was not working.Shortcomings are:1) software stability of the app2) Watch app does not allow to handle the lock without the phone being connected to the lock it seems.3) does not use the native NFC capability of the iPhone or the Apple Watch4) no way to pair a third party NFC tag so you could pair it to some other NFC tag you have5) unresponsive support********** END UPDATE *********Good sturdy lock. Much bigger than expected. NFC works only with the supplied tag.The three things that would make it 5 star are1) make the watch app independent of bluetooth and the phone. Right now the phone needs to be close by for the watch to work.2) use NFC from the phone instead of the tag like a wallet card3) have a smart sleep mode. If the lock goes to sleep while I’m in the shower at thr gym the watch is not able to unlock right away.

I bought the lock on a search for a lock that would work with my gear S2 watch. I am so sorry I bough this lock.A wasted a total 2 hours initially trying to pair the lock with my Samsung s7edge. ( watch requires to pair with phone bonded to watch).Being the tech guy i am , i sent off emails to the Digipas and egeetouch website. I got no response. Finally I returned to this page and noticed in the description it stated ( doesnt work with android 7.0/7.1)...... My bad.So i tried to recover my wasted time and tested the lock with a iphone and android 6.0 phone. Both worked. But didnt solve my problem.To make due I decided to buy extra NFC tags.As a substitute for the lock not working with Android 7, with the hope maybe they would soon fix it. I have since bought two "dog-bone locks" another manufacturer that are working properly. No issues ...I am very concerned about a email conversation between myself and Digipas. They emailed me "reaching out" after I purchased the NFC tags.One of those annoying amazon emails you get after you buy something...... They NEVER responded to my emails the week prior through their websites.First they tech #1 said ....Your model should work with Android 7. Quite frequently, our customer get confused with the 2 modes operating the smart locks (NFC and Bluetooth).The android store app and this site stated it didn't for a time. ( note the reviews from Galaxy s8 and s7 users---Most popular phone)Then the tech proceed to ask for my order number. Then stated i bought from a unauthorized seller. Finally he told me return the item the REBUY it .This company did not properly beta test the product. Then is using Amazon sellers as beta-testers. If a product is defective and CANNOT be firmware upgraded it needs a recall. SIMPLE...Digipas gets 2 stars for answering me back.

Purchased this bluetooth lock for our rental storage, its very easy to setup on your phone, just follow the user manual and only take me few min to set it up, it very strong and reliable feeling then other brand, I mainly use the NFC chip to unlock the lock, if i forgot my NFC chip, i can also use my phone or smart watch to open it.if you are looking for a regular lock and dont like to bother with the new tech, then this is not for youbut if you are looking for a bluetooth lock that work with both your phone and watch with NFC chip include, look no farthergreat product and will highly recommend~

Software is unreliable. In the 1 hour I have been fooling around with this the software has crashed 3 times.The product doesn't save time. In order to unlock you must physically touch the lock (holding down the lock arm for a few seconds) to turn it on and only then can you actually connect to it in order to unlock it.I still prefer a combination lock or key lock. they are both quicker. Going to try the new Tapplock fingerprint based lock. Not available from Amazon.

This lock will not pair with my Samsung 8 but does work with my IPhone 7. Lucky I had IPhone otherwise this would have been returned. I wasn't sure how long to charge it for once I got it. I charged it like an hour or two because in manual it said something about it having some watch battery in there. So I figured usb must not be for charging, maybe data transfer. Now the lock is unable to open because its low battery power.

Worst product ever. I had to change the battery three times in three weeks. The Fobs sent with the device never worked. The communication between my iPhone and the lock would not work every time. The lock finally stopped working. I had to walk from the locker room, in just a towel, to the front desk at my gym to get bolt cutters and then back to cut the lock off. Do not buy this lock.

I could not get this lock to work correctly! I would not recommend. It would not unlock. I had to cut off. It said continually unlock in progress, but never did it. I called customer service & the lady did not help. I cut the lock off! Customer Service was No Help!

Couldn't get it to work. Wouldn't even try to connect with my phone at all because it's running Android 7.0 which is almost the latest version currently available. When I used an older device it gets stuck on connecting and is beeping for a long time without stopping.Their phone support is forwarded to a cellphone voicemail.I'll update with changes.

Received product. It was straight forward to connect to my iPhone. Same evening I got a "Critical Battery Low" message indicating I need to replace the battery. There was also an issue where the padlock would not lock even when I closed it. Could be due to the almost dead battery on arrival. Apple Watch functionality makes you bring your phone close to the lock, open the app on the iPhone, connect to the lock with the iPhone then open your Apple Watch App and tap "Unlock". Why would I do that when the Unlock button is right there on the iPhone app?? The Apple Watch app does not work with the lock directly. I was also under the impression this lock is outdoor rated but it doesn't appear to be. On its way back to Amazon.

倉庫用に購入使用一週間で使用不能（2日目から反応が鈍くなる）電源入らずUSBから供給してもダメやもなく破壊して解錠中見たら水滴がありターミナルとバッテリーがサビてた。水分によるサビが発生して通電しにくくなり水分があるときに電源を入れたため短絡したと思う野外使われるのでしたらバッテリーのケース開けてシーリングしてから使われたが長持ちすると思います。ただ購入からなのか出荷前かが分からないので判断しづらいですが、商品自体は悪くないと思うので対策品が新作出てから買い直そうかな…

これまでのレビューでもあるように防水性能が皆無に等しいです。雨などに濡れなくても結露で二日も経たずに電池にサビが浮いてきました。それに電池の減りが異様に早すぎる。新品電池を入れても２４時間もすればバッテリー切れです。モバイルバッテリーを持っていないと解鍵も施錠も出来ません。これは商品としてどう？って感じです。

外部の門扉で使用しました。マイナス5度の朝ロックが解除できずお湯をかけたり押したり引いたりして、何とか開けることができました。メーカーにメールで問合せしたら防水仕様ではないとのことでした！商品説明に雨のかかるところでは使用できませんとのコメントを入れておくべきと思います。ロック機構が効かないままに使用していたら錠前の上と下が外れました。半年も持たない商品とは。どんな品質管理をしているのか疑問です・

バッテリーがすぐになくなったので、LR44お新品に入れ替えたら、今度は接触せず。使えない商品。
