I really enjoy this feeder. As a family, our Boston was either getting fed twice or we’d realize that no one fed him (would always notice within an hour or two). Also, with busy life, there would be times that we weren’t going to be home during “dinner” time and would have to decide to feed him too early or too late. This feeder has taken the guess work out of it. We have it set up on a daily schedule, but can make changes for a day if we need to. It also sends you a notification on your phone when food is low so you know when to add more. This feeder releases food slowly, which has really helped our Boston slow down while eating.Cons:1) If it gets jammed, you do not get a notification. This has happened twice to our dog. The app will show “no feed” but it will not alert you. I would like to have a notification letting me know that it’s jammed like the low food notification.2) the dish does not stay against the feeder. I like that it isn’t attached for easy cleaning, but I would like for it to lock in place so the food doesn’t go everywhere if the bowl isn’t placed back against the machine after every feeding (my dog knocks it around while licking the bowl).*pic for attention!!

I have a 70-pound pittie boxer mix. He's disabled and needs to eat several times a day, which is a problem if I am working in my corporate office for the day. It was pretty easy to set up the feeder and to set up the schedule on the app. The portion size is weird, I basically calculated the weight of his meal, then divided by the weight of one "portion" to determine how many portions he needs per meal. His kibble is pretty big, and sometimes it gets stuck, but most of the time the gears will reverse themselves and unclog on its own. It has saved me a lot of stress because it feeds him during the day if I am gone and there is a feeding record on the app, so I can check to make sure he's being fed without problem. It will also notify you when the food reservoir gets low (which takes him 2-4 days). My only beef, and this is small, is that the lock to keep the reservoir secure somehow ended up inside of the feeder, so I can lock on the lid but not the reservoir to the machine. My dog is also well behaved and doesn't try to get into the feeder. So, I guess it's more annoying than a problem. I took it apart to clean recently and that was pretty easy. Most of the parts came off, I wish the interior of the reservoir would come off, but I just wiped it with a damp rag and let it dry really well before putting it back together and hooking it back up. I love this feeder and am super glad I got it.

Let me start this off by saying our kitty has always been very food-motivated. She always has her eyes on whatever food is nearest to her. She has also always been very food aggressive. Before we had this to automatically dispense and space out her feedings throughout the day, we would be woken up at 330-4 AM by her screaming at us to give her food. When my fiance and I would get home from work, if we didn't immediately give her food, we would also be screamed at.Fast-forward 2 years of us owning this product and all I'll say is we haven't heard our cats' "I'm hungry" scream in a number of months.We have it set up so that our cat gets fed 6 times a day, spaced out to every 4-5 hours. We have never had a problem with this device, aside from the one time I accidentally put the crumbs from the bottom of the bag of food into the tray. That caused a nasty jam, but it was very easy to clean up and get fixed.My only complaint would be with the app. Anytime you change physical locations (for example, if I bring the feeder from my home to my parents), you need to set up the feeder as if it's brand new again. I believe this is intentional and makes sense from a developer's perspective, as your phone connects to the feeder based on the Wi-Fi you're connected to. So if you go to a new location with different wifi settings, you have to get it set up from scratch (don't lose the instruction manual as I did!!!)All that being said, I only deducted 1 star from the 'easy to use' feature, because it can get tedious if you move around a lot, but the product itself is too good to deduct anything else.

I have to chunky bois, they enjoy their food more than they should and these little auto feeders definitely don't help with that. They yell and scream till I drop more food out BUT I can do it from my phone so that's an improvement.Setup and connecting was easy, just do the things you need to do to do it. Filling with food is as easy as going broke buying these dumb idiots their expensive blue buffalo cat food, popping the lid off the feeder and dumbing as much in as you can fit.Make sure you log into your modem/router and setup the 2.5ghz wifi otherwise you won't be connecting via the app and you'll be very sad that your pet(or child?) Can't eat anymore.The metal dish is so metal I had to have a conversation with them that head banging causes brain damage so bang with caution.The giant silica bag you'll find? Yeah don't eat that, it's gross. Slap that b!tch into the cage on the lid of the feeder and enjoy your less moldy food.All in all, buy the stupid thing, you know you want too.

The media could not be loaded.  8 May 2023 edit - Wopet sent a replacement device under its warranty. Received it within a week of raising the complaint. Very quick response times to complaints and replacements!!For the first month, the product worked as expected. After the first month, the food stopped dispensing properly. You can hear the motor running but very little to no food comes out.Switched the food to an even smaller pellet size, but the same issue.Starting the return / replacement with the manufacturer. Will update the stars and reviews once we hear back from them.

I thought it didn't work at first but I had just set it up wrong.(The instructions that come with aren't that great) It works fine. Now I can rest assured Apollo is getting his kibble if I have to work late, or have a night out or a weekend getaway my good boi is covered. You can set up a daily feed, or just call from the office with a thinking of you treat. I do love technology--mostly.
