NuGoDark Chocolate Chip, 12g Protein Bar, Vegan, Gluten Free, Kosher Pareve, 12 Count

I don't specifically look for vegan or pareve food, I actually just stumbled across these because I love granola-type bars and they were on clearance at my local Safeway. They taste like chocolate Pocky in a bar imho. They have a great amount of protein but don't have that funny yucky sweet protein taste that a lot of protein bars have. Although I would snack on these anytime because they are delicious, I usually save them for my post-morning exercise. One of these and a half liter of sparkling water is a delicious breakfast on the go for me or for when I am too tired or pressed for time to do anything else. I have had other flavors, but this one is my favorite. They are pretty soft, unless you store them in the fridge like I do (I live in California where summers are pretty hot and my house had no AC) but let it sit out for a few minutes and its ready to go. Refrigeration does not affect the texture or taste. My 3 year old loves these too and I don't feel guilty about letting her share with me or occasionally have her own. However its chocolate coated so whenever she tries to hold it she makes a big chocolatey mess.Side note: Amazon does a wonderful job packing these, they use cold packs to keep the product from melting. Thank you!

The amount of protein in each bar along with the wonderful flavor is above and beyond the average power bar. These are a must try!

It is getting more and more rare for me to give 5 star reviews, but this product gets one. I tried this for the 1st time in an airport actually. I lived on protein bars for over 20 years (as a former personal trainer and fitness instructor), but stopped several years ago upon realizing that 99% of them were horribly unhealthy, GMO-clad "frankin-food". I stopped eating "bars" a long time ago......Until I found these....the taste is just incredible! Just like chocolate. I LOVE that these are Organic and non-GMO. I don't use these ever as a replacement for real food. I am a HUGE advocate for a plant-based, whole foods diet. But in times we are in a pinch, or it's not realistic to have a full meal, these are wonderful.I honestly can't think of anything negative to say about these. This is one of few items we subscribe and save to in our home.

I had one of these while I was in NY and suddenly got starving. It was the only snack this little coffee bar had. Much to my delight it turned out to be quite tasty. I have continued to order boxes of them since that trip. Great source of protein and they are gluten free.

The past two times I placed an order the Bars looked old. They are definitely not Dark Chocolate. Very disappointed.

These protein bars are the best. They have a great flavor and always arrive packaged nicely.

I was skeptical having never heard of this product... but, I took a chance and BOY am I glad I did! These taste exactly like Milk Chocolate bars 🤤 Love them and I will be buying these A LOT.

Sooooo delicious! I have a dairy allergy so haven’t had a decent chocolate bar in a long time. These really hot the spot. I had to keep checking the packet to make sure it really was dairy free. I’m not sure if I would eat them after every workout as I dont have that much of a sweet tooth in general. (They are not overly sweet but I’ve never been a huge chocolate eater even when I could eat it) But on those occasion I feel like having a sweet treat I will defo reach for one of these tasty chocolate bars. Very happy.

12g of protein is great for 200 cal snack. The carbs/sugar aren't particularly low but they're not too bad. I eat these around midday on a break at work after starting at 7am and I find they're a great little energy booster and they taste great. Literally like a chocolate bar and because of the rice crispy things inside of them rather than that awful chalky protein stuff you usually get in protein bars, you actually do enjoy eating them. This is definitely the best flavour out of the variety pack as well.

These are by far the best protein bars I’ve ever had. Unfortunately they just raised the price $5 which makes them a very pricey option compared to Costco. Plus some boxes come and most of the bars are hard instead of soft and chewy. Not worth the price for that. I’ll be ordering these as a treat instead of a staple in my pantry now.
