Spancraft Glass 206-2230 Oval Beveled Mirror, 22" x 30"

These are big, full-sized, look great, and have no signs of mirror failure in our year of use. Even the shower glass guy--who also does full-wall mirrors--said this was the way to go, he said they looked great.Before sheetrock, I tried to guess where these would screw in to the wall. I put 2X4 nailers up in those spots.Somehow, I was barely right on my mirror, but for my dear wife there was no nailer behind the sheet rock.The instructions suggest that a mirror of this weight can be hung on bare sheetrock, with no support underneath.Now, we are repainting, and both screws holding my wife's mirror are wobbly. Trying to re-hang, one screw (with accompanying molly bolt) is completely unconnected to anything. I can't even rehang the mirror at this point.So, buyer beware. Make sure you have something solid to connect these to.

The mirror is nice quality and what I expected. It has 3 large metal hanging units on the back so it can be hung horizontally or vertically. The hanging brackets are securely glued, but are big, with big black globs of adhesive. You won't see any of it when it's up. It sits about 1/2- 3/4 inch from the wall when attached. The hard part is that there are 2 brackets to attach, so you have to get it perfect for the mirror to hang right. It should be one bracket so the mirror would hang correctly using it's on weight to keep it straight. Mine is slightly off and I can't seem to get it right. I kept it because it's in a bathroom that only my husband and I use, so no one else notices it. If you're good with tools and measuring, it won't be a problem. It includes 2 wall anchors and screws.Just got a second one. Thanks Webfan for tips on hanging. If you follow that advice, it is fine. I was able to hang it correctly at the first try. It's a good buy for the budget decorator. I did notice that there were parts of the safety backing showing through the edge. I just sanded it off with an emery board.

The mirror is great and high quality. Improvements in packing and wall bracket locations were random. The product was mishandled in shipment by UPS. The double boxing is the only thing that saved the mirror from damage or being broken. Shredded white styrofoam made a mess as soon as we opened the package.Brackets bonded to the back were place 2" off center and without a template. Had to use trial and error method to get it level. Forget using a tape measure to hang it. There is no excuse for this in my book.

You get everything you need except a template to mount the mirror quickly. It looks beautiful once mounted but a template would make the job much easier. The quality is very good and I am pleased with the outcome.

The mirror itself is fine, but the mounting brackets leave a lot to be desired. They should just mound D-clips like regular picture frames use. The brackets on my mirror were not level with each other, so if I had tried to use them, it would have been impossible to get the thing level. I ended up wrapping a mirror hanging wire (big box store carries) around the two brackets and then just hanging the mirror using the wire and a single hanging point. Much easier. I also used a monkey hook instead of the hopelessly inadequate screws and drywall anchors included with the mirror. As the last reviewer mentioned, because of the brackets the mirror floats away from the wall about 3/4", but that's not a bad thing. It looks kinda cool.

Looks great and was a pretty typical hanging project. I like how sturdy this frameless mirror is. I've had more fragile ones in the past and this one seems much more durable.

Looks great and very easy to hang. I saw some reviews that the hardware was inferior and uneven for hanging straight but the two I ordered were perfect. Easy to keep clean. Nice & sturdy on the wall.

The brackets on the back were crooked and 3 of the screw heads sheared off. This made it a challenge to hang straight. I would not buy this again.
