See, I used tampons for the first time and these things have sizes. When people say tampons don't hurt, they do while taking it out if you buy the wrong size like in my case I bought a size too big. I mean as its too big for me, it gets very uncomfortable while sitting. But in general as a tampon, it has very good absorbancy and it doesn't let your period leak so I'd recommend it but please take care of the size thing :)

Possibly the best decision I've ever made. Was sick of rashes and discomfort caused by pads i bought menstrual cup but couldn't insert as i was unable to manage the folds req to insert it read rivews that tampons were easier to insert than cups and decided to try it but at 1st time it didn't go and i ended up wasting it but i was determined to use it so tried it again the same day by being calm and it went well . Why didn't i try it earlier mahn.Brands:OB tampons by Johnson and Johnson are easily available in most medical stores in india so they were my 1st but ob does have leakage issues and with fewer size options they are def not meant for heavy flow days. Bella are in 4 sizes and the super are great for heavy days while i use 2 sizes Super for 1st 2 and half days and mini for last days as super hurts coz of less lubrication.Steps for using tampon:1. Know your body first. Try inserting a finger on normal days on period days its already enough lubricated so it won't hurt while inserting.2.Know the best position you are comfortable with to insert and remove it smoothly. Stay calm. It will hurt while removing at first time but 2 cycles into it and it will come out hassle free. If its not coming out take a deep breath and relax and try again it will come out3. Know how your flow varies during the cycle and use the sizes according to it and the lubrication you feel at the moment.4. Keep check on your body and also put timer if you forget things.
