I decided to use the ring on top to strap this as a backpack for my 2 yr old granddaughter. I think it will fit little shoulders well. It does smell a little weird as others have mentioned but not a deal breaker. My only thought is that I wanted a zipper long enough for her to open the purse wide & see the entire contents & this zipper seems a just a tad (maybe OK for older girls with nimble fingers) bit short for that. I got her another purse for that purpose & she’ll have this cutie for her backpack. Looks to be sturdy & well made & is exactly as shown.

Looks exactly like the picture my daughter loves it although she still prefers me purse lol but at least it helps to keep her out of mine! Smells weird at first will need to air it out.
