Positano Life on the Amalfi Coast

I got this book for my husband because we're going BACK to Positano for the second year in a row. It was filled with delightful insights that were especially fun for us because we could imagine just where she was and what she was writing about. Even if you've never been to Positano, you'll love this book for its stories of the people and places.

This book really takes you to Positano and the life on the Amalfi Coast as well as to nearby areas. It is also quite educational. Do not expect photos in the book. I am very fond of this book.

Book very good. Fiction. Gives a Birdseye view of life in Positano for a alien who marries into Positano family. Better yet go on you tube n check out documentaries n video of the entire town.

I enjoyed the book as it provided an interesting look at the "behind the scenes" life in Positano, from the standpoint of an Aussie getting married there, remodeling a house and beginning a family

Love this book, since I can't afford to go now this was a great sub.

Great book!

This is very much a personal account of someone living in the place many years ago. There are a few very useful snippets regarding food and geography, but quite a lot of rambling about marriage, childbirth and irrelevant trips to London and Rome. The autor ain't no Peter Mayle, so I didn't feel transposed to the place at all.
