I am not a gamer, so I can't rate it for that purpose. I am, however, a number crunching geek and a database builder and user. This is proving to be well beyond the usual performance in both areas. I have recommended it to other people I know.

Fourth HP laptop we have purchased. Easy to set up and the large screen really helps.

I was going to send it back but it said a 20 percent restocking fee which I am not willing to pay. The laptop is fast, lightweight, and a nice picture. The letters on the keys are gold and you can barely see them I am afraid they will fade. This is a personal decision it's overall nice it is not touchscreen, and that's what I really wanted, and I do not play games.

Very nice, very sleek laptop. Booted up with no problems. Had many, many accessories installed. My only problem with it is that it has two usb ports and no cd drive. That was resolved by acquiring a drive and multiport accessory locally. I cleaned out the unwanted software and am getting used to windows 11 which is different than windows 10. I am happy.I can recommend the vendor and the pc.

You have to buy the extra stuff like Microsoft office separate so that is inconvenient. My wife uses it for work and it works perfectly for that. Have not tried games on it yet.

Product Support closed Jan 23, 2024, and this happens. My laptop has been awesome until now. It never leaves my house and always sits on the table next to where I sit. It has never been dropped or gotten wet or any other abuse that laptops can incur. I'm the only person who uses it so there is no one else who could have done something to it, especially since I live alone. I'm not sure why this is happening but my last laptop lasted me over 5 years and this one has lasted only 2 years and 2 months. I'm not sure what to do but I guess I need to take it somewhere to have it looked at. :( I wish this would have happened 3 months ago so I could get product support.

Why did I wait so long to replace my relic. This is so fast, so nice! Nice size and do not miss desktop screen for my 50 y/o eyes. Easy to pack.Set up room maybe 15 minutes?

I purchased this as a new computer. When I got it, I could tell it was refurbished. The screen shot didn't work and there was only 90 days left in the warranty. Due to what I had to do, I could not return it as I needed the computer for work. This is the second HP computer I have had. It's not nearly as good as the first one I bought. It was totally unfair for AMAZON to sell a refurbished machine as new. Nothing in the fine print on the Amazon website indicated this computer was refurbished. Normally Amazon states if an item is refurbished. I think Amazon should at least give me a partial refund, but they won't. Bezos is too much of a money grubber.
