whhyyy the velvet? I bought these thinking it was a velvety fabric covering or something like that; it's some sort of sprayed-on velvet that lints heavily. rub your hands on them and it leaves a microplastic residue immediately. bad enough for the environment, and definitely not something I want ground into my shirts to breathe in all day. these would be excellent without the sprayed on coating

I bought these out of a fit of rage.Hi, Review Reader. In the next few short paragraphs, I will tell you how these fuzzy hangers have changed my relationship for the better. And they can do the same for you.I do most of the laundry in my partnership with my boyfriend. One day we got in an argument about my boyfriend hogging all the empty hangars in his closet. It wasn't an argument, really. More of a kerfuffle to be accurate. But it was really late in the evening, and I'd been trying not to eat past 8PM, so I'm tired and hungry and this kerfuffle of an issue became such an irritation to me. I was getting angry. But I knew I was just overreacting because I was tired an hungry. My therapist has been helping me learn to just go to bed, cool off, and come back to the big issue in the morning.So that's what I did. Sort of. I decided to stop arguing about the hangars and went to my office to try to keep my mouth from getting sassy. Instead, I opened my Amazon app and looked for hangars that would be impossible for my boyfriend to mistake as his. I found these in my favorite color.Having all the same kind of hanger in your closet makes you look so much snazzier. Give it a try. These are nice cuz they're fuzzy and your clothes never fall off onto the closet floor with all your dust bunnies. But the fuzzies are kind of annoying when you put the clothes onto the hanger in the first place. But you get used to maneuvering your clothes so they go on smoother.I've had a couple break off at the top where the metal meets the fuzzy part. These have a slight swivel head (more like a little screw) and it looks like if they're screwed too far in one direction, it can break it.So now my boyfriend and I live in harmony - except for the little bickers back and forth about pointless shit every once in a blue moon. Very good values for the price I got these for.Was amazed at the many ways to use these hangers.And for once, no Marks left in the shoulder area of the tops as some hangers do. Not all tops do this, just some.And I did use these, straight from the bag to hang Wet Cloths - and no issues. I hung a wide variety of colors from light to dark and no transfer of color nor lint, Huge plus.You can hang a top on normal area, a cami on the side hangers, pants or skirt on the inner area and the tops swivels around if you need to turn the right direction for hanging. Great hangers so far and many colors to choose from as well. And seem to be very sturdy, durable. Able to hold a pretty heavy coat I have.So far these have been a gem of a find and value for the buy as well.

We've been holding out on upgrading to thin velvet hangers forever. I don't know why. When I saw these are rounded to avoid shoulder bumps, I decided it was time. These are so much easier to stack, store, etc. without tangling each other up in a big mess like the plastic hangers. The clothes hang higher and they look so neat and even in the closet. They did seem a bit chemical-smelly (but I tend to be sensitive) so I let them air out on our patio first. No shoulder bumps as promised, and we've used them to hang every type of garment we have (except sweaters which I don't hang), wet and dry. This includes my husband's suits. I even just doubled them up for heavy items like our winter coats. So far so good!
