STILL NICE ON BLACK HAIR - African American Hair
As an african american woman, I didn't think this would work on my daughters hair, but it did and she loved it! Nice product! Easy to put on, only thing, I thought it would be more like chalk but considering the hair has to be wet when applied, it was more like paint and you MUST set it with a blow dryer and hair spray or all your efforts will wipe away in your hands after you touch it.

So much fun
The colors are so much fun. My girls ask for these almost every day for school. They do wash out pretty well, depending on how bright you put on the hair. Blonde hair-pink and red have a slight tint for a day/two after washing out(we wash hair every other day).

Not quite what I hoped
It’s interesting these are called chalk, because they are more like an oil pastel. Once the color is added, the hair is sticky, thick & oily. And it rubbed off on anything I touched. In addition, after combing through a couple times, the pastel/chalk fell off the little comb handle, so I had to hold it in place. it did, however, transfer a color onto my hair. I just expected to be able to do something with my hair after the color was added. A braid would be the only way to make this work for me. it completely washed out when I was done.

Was part of what I used to lighten my beard for Santa photos
Was part of what I used to lighten my beard for Santa photos. Really had to press it into the hair. Took one apart and just used the chalk in my hand to get the job done. Washed out in one try.

WILL damage hair!
My young daughter has asked to color her hair for months. I am not ready to let her use chemicals or make any long-term decisions with her hair (she is only four). I thought the chalk would be a great temporary option to let her have some fun for a day or two then wash it out.PROS: Easy to follow instructions, minimal to no messCONS: My daughter is blonde. I expected the color to be a little brighter...but she is 4...it was fine. The instructions indicated the hair would be sticky while wet, but to then blow dry/brush the hair after applying. We did just that. Her incredibly soft and healthy hair was left stiff and dingy. Not a big deal...we were experimenting for the weekend. The next morning the hair had turned into one major rats nest. As I tried to work through each section to brush it out handfuls of hair broke off (not lost at scalp, but breaking). I'd finally work through a section and set it to the side only to have it instantly tangle again. Each time a hair moved it would create a new tangle. My heart broke for my daughter for the pain she experienced trying to work through the mess and her full head of healthy blond hair is now full of broken dead end flyaways. NEVER AGAIN! Our entire goal in using this product was to avoid damaging her hair. Fail!

Not great but kids love it
It's hard to get the chalk started but it's nice and bright. You must use hairspray or it stains things. Do not use close to the face. You will end up with colorful marks

A Fun Product, but a Hard No
It's definitely worth it to try, especially with super light or blonde hair. My daughter is a darker blonde, and the colors still managed to be somewhat colorful and noticeable. It's relatively easy to apply, and it's easy to wash off should any get on you. Perfect for play or dress up or Halloween. However, the cons sort of outweighs the pros:I really, really hate how tacky it becomes (the hairspray doesn't help, I know, but even before applying it, the hair chalk still left an undesirable texture).- My daughter had significant knots afterward (even with brushing before application, as stated in the directions). Note: Probably not recommended for fine hair.- I felt like I applied layer after layer of color and all it did was come off my hands, resulting in a less-than-vibrant color (over and over again).I dunno. Maybe it was a user error in all of this, but I found myself inching towards semi-permanent hair color (something I wanted to avoid), like Color Rista by Loreal, instead of something that doesn't last, like... *at all*. But it almost seems more worth it.

Cool
Fun little gift. Harder to apply than I anticipated. If you're hair is not white blonde it takes a lot of applying. But fun all in all.

Works great!
My daughter has light blonde hair and this works amazing. I like how it’s safe within the comb, making it easy to apply to the hair. I took my daughter swimming at an indoor pool and the colour stayed in her hair

Not great
This product is really bad it dries out hair and takes about 4 washes to get out. It leaves your hair feeling like hay I would not recommend using this product.

Awful.
Awful. This isn't chalk, it's a waxy paste. It's feels horrible horrible in hair, stiff and greasy

Nicht gut
Leider bin ich mit dem Artikel nicht zufrieden.Die Kämme sind sehr klein und bei Mittelblondem Haar sieht man überhaupt nichts. Schade.
