It worked.
My Dewalt vac failed after very little use. The Dewalt service department told me to ship it to either Atlanta or Ontario for them to decide if they would cover it under the warranty (it was after the first year but less than three years). Rather than spending the money to ship, I replaced the printed circuit board, which had a burned spot. I chose Amazon, even though the price was higher than the parts place, because they offered one day shipping. The generic board works fine, but I don't know how long it will last. There is a good YouTube video by Bourbon Dad Creations on determining and replacing the bad part in the Dewalt 20v vacuum.
