A great value short length of exhaust wrap, intended for motorcycle use, that has been used on a diesel heater exhaust. The exhaust noise from the heater is intrusive despite having a silencer and most of the sound was coming through the thin exhaust pipe sidewall. Wrapping the Foneso Car Exhaust Wrap around the heater exhaust pipe has significantly reduced the noise. The temperature of the exhaust is kept within the wrap so it is actually possible to touch the wrapped hot exhaust and not burn yourself at all, which is a welcome bonus - although generally the main reason for using exhaust wrap in the first place.The wrap is easy to apply and forms well to the exhaust contours. It does litter the area with irritating glass fibre particles, looking almost like glitter, so you MUST wear long gloves and probably eye protection. It isn't toxic but can be very itchy. There are plenty of stainless steel wrap clamps included as well as concise easy to follow instructions.After a somewhat smokey and smelly initial first use the wrap has cured to the exhaust perfectly and does a great job of reducing the noise.

Bought to protect my fireblade fairing that was getting too close to the exhaust and it completely stopped the melting so totally recommend.

These are really good for heat protection and look very good over the exhaust pipe. Getting a good look out of the bandage is hard and the ties provided are hard to cut so you’ll probably end up twisting them with pliers to cut them, making a super sharp point so be careful not to poke yourself.Most importantly: wear gloves. You do not want fibreglass splinters ALL over your hands for two days trust me.

I used the product for the job it was designed to do. It is a black coloured fabric but when it gets hot from the exhaust this starts to give off a smelly blackish smoke which does not stop for quite a time, leaving a white coloured fabric which still does the job. (There was no need to call the fire brigade)

This stuff is unbelievably dangerous. It goes ABSOLUTELY EVERYWHERE, all over your skin and stays for days. Even after multiple showers.It also does NOT do the job. It’s cheap garbage.
