OMG, heaven in a jar!
This is the harissa to end all harissas! I was lucky enough to have a daughter living for a while in Schenectady where the Tara Kitchen restaurant is. If you are ever out that way, you simply MUST go there! This harissa sauce brings back all the warm memories of outrageously delicious tagine dinners we had there. The flavor of the harissa is more complex, the heat that divine hot yet mellow genius that Moroccan cuisine does so well. Every morning I have fried eggs with harissa and olives, and my life is good. Yours can be too if you just get this sauce and start really living life right!

Crowd Pleaser
I started a Gourmet Group 14 years ago. You rarely make everyone happy. This Harissa (and I've had others) got raves from the whole group. While I reduced my typical use to accommodate frailer tastes, all were pleased and one couple has ordered a jar for themselves.I have since re-ordered this product. and will continue to do so. However the packaging for this March 2020 was not good and it came with harissa leaked all over the inside of the bubble wrap. My suggestion would be to take a look at who is doing your packaging.Deb H.Chester, MA.

The best!
I have been enjoying this harissa for a number of years after initially eating at the restaurant which created the product. This rich thick condiment is intensely flavored (a small amount goes a long way) without being hot! I enjoy using to flavor hummus, as a sandwich spread with mayo, entrees, or meat and vegetables on the grill. Glad I found it on-line!

I felt obligated to write this review after I realized just how good this product really is! I have fallen in love with Harissa in general but the Tara Kitchen brand has the best flavor I have tried so far. I was running low so ran to Trader Joes and picked up their store brand. Bad move. It was hot but did not have the sweetness or general complexity of flavor that the Tara Kitchen brand does.

Purchase from grocery store instead
Product was opened with contents spilling out when purchased. No option to return or replace which is problem. Also not understanding why there is no lot number or expiration date. Something about this seems odd. I’d like my $ back
