Good design, great video quality
Yes, I would recommend this, but sometimes you need to be a geek (like me) to get it working properly. I included some of my tips to help.Good:1. Stealthy design.2. HD video for both front and rear cameras.3. With the included 64G micro SD card, it has a capacity of about 13 hours in full HD 30 fps and fine video quality.4. GPS with speed and location on screen.5. Install and once you verify it's working (give it a few days to a week), it is pretty reliable.6. Great way to track where your vehicle has been if you have teenage drivers.Problems:1. Park mode drains the internal battery. I think this caused problems, and the camera wouldn't boot up the next day. After some troubleshooting, I disabled the park mode and it's been working fine since. One of the selling points for me was the park mode, so I downgraded to 4 stars.2. The company Koonlung doesn't have firmware updates or instruction manuals available on their website. dashcamtalk does have some firmware for this camera, but it's is two years old, not the latest. The instruction manual also mentions speedcam file updates, but they're not available online either (I think this is a useless feature anyways, I have no need for speedcam alerts). Koonlung: Please make these files available for download on your website!3. Speed is in kph, and there isn't a mph firmware available for update. I read somewhere that there is a mph update to the firmware, but once again Koonlung doesn't make the files available for download.4. Others have complained about the camera freezing. If you use a 5 volt car adapter to power it, be sure it supplies at least 2 amps as stated in the user manual. I mistakenly connected it to a 1 amp plug and the screen went blank, then it froze up. I tried it with the 1 amp adapter again just to be sure, same thing. Then I connected it to a 2 amp plug and it worked great. If it locks up, disconnect it from power and briefly remove the internal battery to unfreeze it.Read the reviews of all of the latest cameras on dashcamtalk, this is a great place to do your research before purchasing.Edit: Some have reported removing the battery for various reasons. I think that may cause freezing and start-up problems for the same reason as a drained battery in park mode. If your screen says "Recovering" in red letters while booting up, there is something wrong, probably due to a dead or missing battery.

Junk.
This product has problems maintaining reliable connections. I am going to uninstall it from my car as it keeps rebooting and won't stay running. I had high hopes as the cameras are small but the quality is simply junk.

It was recommended by a friend
I've had the system for about 3 months. It was recommended by a friend, and I'm very happy with it. The cameras are small and lightweight. The video is great hd quality. It comes with plenty of wire length so you can put the monitor anywhere. I have a pickup truck. The rear window is vertical. The mounting bracket is only designed for sloped windows so I had to screw the rear camera into the window lining. This required that I drill two small holes through the mounting bracket. So if you have a truck you'll have to do a little extra work to mount the rear camera.

I purchased this camera from a different seller a couple years ago and wanted to share my experiences since the other seller doesn't have a listing on Amazon anymore.Overall, this package is awesome. It is very inexpensive compared to many of the other 2 channel cameras, and the only one I could find that has the DVR as a separate unit that could be hidden. However, there are a couple issues:1) This one is a small one, but the tape that comes attached to the cameras doesn't hold up well in the heat and fails pretty quickly. I replaced it with some 3M double sided tape for automotive use and it has held up for well over a year now.2) Heat. This DVR unit definitely has a problem with heat. After a few months (5-6), I started having occasional reboots. By 8 months, the camera would only record 10 mins for every 2-3 hours of my driving. The rest of the time would be spent rebooting or frozen. The previous seller honored their 1 year warranty and replaced the unit for me. Since the new unit has no warranty, I decided to modify the back housing and add a small fan. I took the back panel off and cut it in half, then hot glued a small fan to it. The battery cover still fits, and now the unit stays cool. It has been about 10 months and the DVR still has 0 reboots and is still recording 100% of the time. I would definitely recommend any handy owners try a solution like this to deal with the heat problem.

Worked less than a year
Worked great for eights months although the video quality isn't the best. Suddenly stopped working even though the power light comes on. Since this is designed to be installed the reliability issue is a problem.

Very happy
I have owned this dual dash cam for approximately two years and am very happy. I hardwired it to a switch so if the ignition is off, I can still have the unit on, by way off the switch. If I need to review a video, I put a backup SD card in it, as to always have one in the unit.

I like that at work like they said it would Straight Out of the Box easy to set up the only thing I did not like about it is the rear camera mount did not have enough adjustment for my SUV rear window and would not stick to the plastic trim and I use degreaser wax removal before trying to adhere it
