EricX Light Candle Color Dye,36 Color Wax Dye for Candle Making

I used about half a bag of a dark rose color that matched the container and it came out so light. I don’t understand how people are saying a little goes a long way. That’s why I tried only half a bag but you’ll need a whole bag to get the true color. It’s good for the price but I will be buying some more pigmented stuff next time.

They changed it …now it’s more Crayola like!! It did work great but come back a year later after it’s finally gone and they have changed the formula…make it back how it was cuz this hardly even colors anything …update I think they change the formula so that u have to use it faster cuz u have to use a lot to even get any color and at first u could just use practically a crumb!! I had to mix another brand to get the colors u see pictured!!! What ever you’re doing stop cuz this made the dye terrible to use!

I love the variety of colors, you can adjust to suit the intensity to make candles. I love their products and will send my students to buy from them...no concerns with any of my purchases from them. The packaging is neat, comes in a big , white cardboard type envelope inside another Amazon package...very good, prices are reasonable, unlike others. Value for money!!!

They’re decent and there colors come out so beautiful but you literally have to keep stirring or break it in small pieces cause they don’t just melt instantly when you put them into pot. ( I make candles )

I was not satisfied with the candle colorant. It did not melt into the wax, it just floated on top.

Color was to light,very weak

I've used some other wax dyes previously and these are not good in comparison. I mainly purchased these to get the black dye to make a few black candles, also wanted to make a few deep rose candles. The rest of the colors were just a bonus.I used the entire packet of black to make 1 medium sized candle, you can see here in the photo the color is a light blue/grey which is pretty but not what I wanted. The second candle I had to use 3 different colors- Flour Rose, Dark Red, and Lavender (to deepen the color), it turned out the color I wanted but I used up most of these 3 colors. So a little does not go a long way as some others have said.I also noticed that alot of the pigment would not dilute, it ended up floating to the top of my candles leaving dark spots which I scooped out and then used a heat gun to even out the surface after. So was alot of extra work. I am going to return the rest of the colors. Definitely not a fan of this product.
