Injinji Boot Original Weight OTC

I’m personally a pinch penny, and I love to save money, so I was iffy on whether to buy these or a less expensive brand.. Well I’m glad that I did purchase these! My husband is a drill instructor, and he’s on his feet for at least 16 hours a day. He’d gotten blisters, and needed to keep his toes separated. He loves these socks! He wears them throughout the week and I wash them at least twice a week... and they’re holding up really well...no holes in them or signs of wear.. they’re great quality. I’ll definitely be purchasing more pairs.

These are the most comfortable socks I've ever found. The over-the-calf fit is snug and smooth so that it just moves with you and you can kind of forget you're even wearing socks. (The whole sock is holding on - it's not like some socks where they only put elastic right at the top, so it digs into your skin at one point, with the rest of the sock being a limp cloth.)Got 7 pair of these. Each pair has been worn approximate 75 days, all day. Use them with Vibrams which work great walking/running/exercising. Also wear occasionally with business casual shoes - looks/feels fine there as well.They have held up quite well given all the use. It's been 1.5 years, and all are starting to show signs of wear on the heel and the pad of the foot and the toes (mainly the pad of the big toe). But none have a hole in them yet. The elastic feel has not really changed at all, so the fit has remained the same.

Arrived a week early! I had only ordered 1 pair to evaluate and they more than met my expectations. I would like them a little thicker for a boot sock, but I'll be ordering 2 more pairs asap! I wear injinji socks exclusively, so I knew what to expect with the bottom portion. These were purchased for added calf protection that I can treat for insects.

One of the best investments I've ever made for my feet. Work phonemically well when paired with SealSkinz socks. I wore these all the way through the Marine Corps Infantry Officers Course with SealSkinz socks. I not once got a blister in the field or any of the hikes at the course as a result of these two socks. These socks ensured my feet remained healthy and in good condition. When my foot did get wet, these socks would not cause friction and rub but instead protected my feet. Combine these socks with the SealSkinz and I didn't have to change socks for a week of intense training, which no other sock combination on the market can provide. I highly recommend these to any avid outdoors-man or person who works in the outdoors constantly. As an infantry officer, living and working in all climbs and places with a variety of climates these socks have yet to fail me, especially in wet climates.

Improvement on previous otc Injinji socks I have had. Don't get me wrong I liked my older pairs, but they had started to unravel at the top early on. I kept wearing them anyway, but tuck the top in...the strings are somewhat annoying, so eventually I wanted some new ones. These are what I chose and wow. So nice. These have a much wider cuff (about an inch), and the calves are super stretchy. I wear Vibram 43, US Mens 10.5 wide, US Womens 12 wide, I purchased Large Injinji for a perfect fit. These fit my plus sized calves comfortably, bonus they don't slide down over hours and hours of wear. I love these. Got them in three colors (as of Feb 2018 three pairs=free shipping, mine came directly from Injinji). Worth the price and so attractive paired with a short skirt and Vibrams.

I would rate 5 stars if these socks are knee high and come with white/grey/black color.

The day these arrived was very chilly, so I decided to take them for a 5-mile run. They did not disappoint! They kept my legs warm, and had some support for my sore calf. Also they stayed up! I just wish they made these in more colors, or even prints, since the colors shown are borrrrrinnnngggg. Lol. But taking one star off, though, because they could be a little thicker padded on the bottom. I did notice some wear on the bottoms after just one run, which is not good... not sure how long they will last at that rate.

While its winter I like to double sock 1st layer toe socks, 2nd a regular pair, after that my feet are so warm provided they remain dry outside of normal foot sweat. The Initial wear I only wore the one set to assess its feel which is awesome, later I tried with my normal double layer, also later wore with shoes, also as with boots that I recently bought... I'm very satisfied with these I'll have to remember these the next time I'm looking for more toe socks... also these are as advertised knee high...
