Great for leaves!
Didn't buy this for snow, instead bought it for gathering leaves and soil from my lane. Metal lip makes scraping up old leaves very easy and the nice wide shovel means it can hold a good amount of leaves. It is plastic but leaves (or snow) isn't that heavy so I've no concerns.Overall very happy with it. It's sturdy and does what I need it to do.

Excellent spade, excess packaging
Spade is a perfect size, very sturdy and lightweight. It arrived in a two-piece cardboard 'sandwich' 6ft x 4ft! The courier driver laughed as did I. Perhaps it was the only available material at the time, but just be aware. Getting rid of the cardboard was a challenge!
