One Question a Day for Self-Care: A Three-Year Journal: Daily Check-Ins for Emotional Well-Being

Cutest Book!
I purchased this book for myself and love it! It’s really easy and 1 question a day for self care. I have a stressful job, so this is nice to have to relax and reflect without being bombarded with a bunch of questions or exercises some other journals have. This would be a great gift as well! I got my flair pens out and I’m ready to go!

It’s good to check in.
Enjoying this journal.

Great way to journal!
I LOVE to answer these questions every day! I can't wait to see how my answers change every year! These questions have already taught me things about myself and it's only the end of February! Looking forward to even more!

I love this book!
The title sounds so serious, but the questions are easy to answer. As someone who has been a start-stop journaler for years, I’ve found this book to be the perfect fit. It takes only a few minutes each day and it quickly became a (good) habit. I look forward to finding out each day’s question and writing my answer.

Good prompts
I like the journal. The prompts are better than a lot I've seen. Some are too "motivational" or kind of "cheesy" for My personality but, on the whole, they're good ones. If you like to write a lot, this is not for you. I'm constantly writing along the margins or above and below the lines bc I write too much. The only thing I would say is if, like me, you are planning this as a nightly journal, it's for mornings. I have a schedule that makes it impossible to sit down for five minutes to write in the morning. Plus I like to relax and decompress right before bed. I've used this for a bit over a month and there have already been 5-6 prompts that have you plan to do something (a picnic, read a book, sit outside, etc.) for the upcoming day. When I sit down at night, i missed out on that days prompt. I could do it the next day, but that's 2 a day, and it's nit going to happen. So if you're a morning person or morning thinker, this is a good one. If You're planning a journal for bedtime, maybe not. Or just know that some of them will have been a prompt to do something earlier in the day. I mean, you could have a picnic at midnight, but realistically, not.

Wow! Best simplified self care book!
The Questions are more well thought out than any other book I’ve seen in this self care area. And with each question I always like to add on a secondary question of why to get deeper into what I need and why I need it. I feel like this book is so buried down in recommendations on Amazon I hope that a surfaces of higher and reviews so that more people can access this.

Enjoyable daily journal
This is great for beginners that are wanting to get into journaling. Asks a daily question that opens up the opportunity to start writing. The only negative about the book is it’s hard to write in. I like the size of it but maybe it could have three small rings, to allow a more comfortable writing experience.

Arrived damaged
Cover and pages on top corner were wrinkled and had creases. I tried to flatten the cover and pages best I could. Took time to try to make it look untouched or defective. Being a gift for my daughter it’s sad to give what reads “brand new” journal that looks used and abused. I would have understood if I bought used.

A beautifully short and effective daily ritual
What a gem this book is. The daily prompts are extremely varied and thoughtful in how they invite the reader to reflect on true self care. For anyone looking to increase their self care in a way that is unique to them, this book will help you find out how.

Good for prompts... appearance seems to be too much of a focus
So far this book has been a good way to get out of my head and just write. I am concerned with how many questions seem to relate to appearance.
