As with many zip lock bags, sometimes it's hard to get your finger between the flaps to open. Other than that, these are terrific.I these on my diet for portion control creating 100 calories bags of almonds, peanuts, cashews, etc. After filling I just press out as much air as I can and then zip it close. These don’t even work with a vacuum seal. It said it did! I tried it multiple times in many different ways and the air doesn’t come out of the pouch and then it gets sealed with extra air inside. No good.

These are kinda clumbsy to use for candy, might work better for hard candies.

We purchased for storing seeds and I love that you can see thru on one side for identification.

I love these bags for seed storage. They're a little difficult to open the first time so I'd do it in batches if you'll need a few.I got caught up in a storm of productivity and put my gathered seeds in these, slid them into photo album inserts, and put them in a binder away from light. I anticipate being able to use them a long time (especially if the labels I used come off easily)
