This candle company has some amazing reviews and I typically don’t use candles because they give me headaches. I bought the Palo Santo scent as it seems like the one with the best reviews. I expected an earthy woodsy scent but it smelled very strong and perfumey. Not my cup of tea, BUT I decided to try a different scent. I ordered the Foxtail Fir and it’s much more natural scented, smells like pine trees! I emailed the company and they offered me to exchange the Palo Santo scent I bought for a different one. I chose the Pumpkin Crème and it is glorious! Smells so sweet and cozy- like a creamy pumpkin latte. I love that the company has such a variety of scents and I can’t wait to try more! They’re handmade, non toxic candles with crackling wood wicks in a beautiful amber colored glass. What more could you ask for!? Ditch the big corporation that sells you GMO soy-based artificially fragranced candles, and try this small business that actually cares about your home and the people that are in it!

I was looking for candles that used cleaner products and this one is amazing! I love the citrus smell! It reminds me of the volcano scent! It’s burns get and love the wood wick! I have this candle burning constantly and will be buying again!

Pumpkin Creme.This review is for those of you who avoid the candle sections of stores because the cheap and overwhelming scents cause you to want to flee the store, and possibly the Galaxy, to get away from the stench.Are you tired of picking up baked good candles with pleasant names only to have your olfactory centers hijacked by what can only be described as the smell of the tortured souls of burning ballpoint plastic pens?Well then this company is for youuuuu!The candle seems like a gimmick. But it isn’t. The wooden wick lasts surprisingly long(still going after a week of use with only a third of the candle gone), the little flame sputter is so comforting and the scent is truly transcendent. It burns clean. Fills the house with a scents you want more of.I also received a sample of the amber candle with my purchase and I’m getting that one next. Quality amber always makes me want to eat it and though i am not sure about the quality of their amber it definitely smells like quality amber.I promise not to eat it.

Love the scent and this burns very clean. I use it in the home. Wish it could last longer for the price for the quantity though.

I'm not easily impressed by packaging. Like seriously -- send me the candle in a cardboard box with plenty of bubble wrap. Don't spend extra money on a pretty box, just make your product cheaper. BUT....this product unexpectedly had me at the packaging. It absolutely shines with quality and gift-ability from the get-go. I felt like I was opening a gold ring or something. I have actually saved the black box with magnetic clasp and the velvet bag for some future use.Ok, aside from the packaging...the candle itself has an amazing aroma. It's strong...even when not burning. I can just leave the lid off while it sits on my desk and it smells wonderful.The crackling wood wick is a really unique touch. It's small, so don't expect it to sound like a fireplace, but it IS wood and it does have a pleasant, comforting crackle sound.Love that this candle is all natural with out chemical junk for the environment or my lungs (because I want to BREATHE it!).It came with a bonus sample Palo Santo tea light, which also smells amazing! I will be looking for a larger version of this one eventually.The candle itself is pretty enough to put on a shelf in the living room. The imprint on the glass is simple, not distracting or gaudy. And if you really wanted to turn it around so the candle is just brown, you can do that -- there is nothing printed on the other side.This candle is classy and the makers thought of every detail. I will definitely come back to this brand again in the future.

A few of months ago, I stumbled onto a Hemlock Park candle named Foxtail Fir. Loving all “fir” scents, I decided to go for it, since the candle was so extremely, reasonably priced.Over the last few months, Foxtail Fir has become one of the three candles I rotate. The other two candles, both in the “embers” scent world, were extravagantly expensive — $150 — both given to me by my son.So I am astonished by how elegant the scents of the Hemlock Park candles are. I’ve just started burning Oud Forest. And my reaction is the same. The scent is elusive, yet intoxicating. You’re immersed in the redolence of the aroma, and yet you want more.The Foxtail Fir candle burned (under a candle warmer) several times a week, for a couple of hours — for many weeks, if not months; and yet, the scent kept on stirring my senses. It never went away, even when the candle had only an inch or so left in the jar.Hemlock Park makes candles that are as good as any candle I’ve ever burned. If my son is kind enough to give me another outrageously priced candle, I’ll love him for it. But as far as I’m concerned, I’ll never buy another candle other than a Hemlock Park candle.The candles come beautifully packaged, with a velvet bag and a travel candle sample.

Great packaging looks so pretty. Love the crackling noise just not loving the smell. It’s overpowering for me.

I love these candles! The palo santo one is my favorite so far. These candles don't trigger my migraines the way other scented candles tend to, and they seem to last longer than the popular candles from the big box stores. The crackling wick is a nice touch, it reminds me of a tiny campfire and adds a nice aesthetic.
