Useful for Reynaud's Syndrome
I came across these rings while browsing Amazon and they looked intriguing. After reading the description and the comments that mention use of the ring promotes blood flow, I immediately thought of my friend who has Reynaud's Syndrome. I ordered two, thinking that because they are so inexpensive, there is little risk in having her try them. The ring is actually one long stainless steel wire that is bent into a geometric, spiral shape and then joined to make a ring. It is flexible, but the shape has multiple little points all around it. To use, you put it on and then roll the ring up and down your finger. It rolls easily and the massaging effect is very pleasant. My friend's Reynaud symptoms have been particularly bad recently, with several fingers being terribly discolored and numb. She was quite enthusiastic about trying the rings as there aren't many medical treatments available and most have seriously undesirable side effects. Neither of us were expecting much from these rings, but any improvement would have been welcome. We were quite surprised that after she used the ring off and on for several hours, her fingers were noticeably less discolored and not as numb! Amazing! I don't know if there will be any further improvement, but the two worst fingers are now a very light purplish color. They were an almost eggplant color 6 hours ago. Clearly the ring does promote and enhance blood flow to the fingers, just as advertised. If you suffer from Reynaud's Syndrome, or know someone who does, I suggest trying this ring as another tool to manage your symptoms when you have a flare. It is very inexpensive and has no potential for side effects like prescription medications so there is little risk in trying it. I hope others will find some relief, too, as my friend has.

Great until.....
The ring was not what I expected. Its like having a mini slinky around your finger. It feels nice and relieves finger joint tension well. It is therapeutic to have a release of joint tension. It does not clean well, however, and you must make sure you don't leave it to dry on metal or it will rust the metal along with itself. I made the mistake and I could not use the ring again. For the price, it's not so bad, but I didn't even think of that possibility.

Acupressure Chinese Medicine Ring
Junk!!! It is huge and rubbs the other fingers next to any finger I put it on. It looks hideous, and I could tell no benefit from it.

Easy, and pleasant, to use.
From the picture I was a little skeptical about ordering this. It looks a little like a torture device! I was pleasantly surprised when I opened it up, and slipped it on my fingers. I have developed RSD from a previous injury, and this is great for nerve stimulation/desensitization - I know that sounds like an contradiction. It's stretchy, and fits easily over the fingers. The points are not sharp, the tips are slightly rounded, so it's not dangerous or painful. But there is enough texture to feel good when it's rolled up and down on each finger. I kind of wish it were big enough to be slipped over my arm, and rolled up and down. It's size makes it easy to carry with me in my purse.

Impressive
I gave this 5 stars because it was only a few bucks and I wasn't really expecting much from this stocking stuffer. I honestly expected it to be cheap metal but it seems to be fairly nice quality. I am a female with relatively small hands and it really did feel good on my fingers! My boyfriend tried it out as well, but he said it felt a little too tight on his hands and it hurt more than it felt good. After a few minutes he was no longer willing to give it up so I guess the ring stretches easier the more you use it.

Hmm
Feels nice, but haven't really noticed any benefits. Just kind of tingly and fun to play with when I'm bored.

Liked it while it lasted
I used this fairly regularly for the past 4 months and it just snapped. So like I said it was great, but the quality wasn't there.

Useless
A very silly, useless invention. Does not feel good at all. Does not even apply much pressure to the finger.
