Buy only if at large end of size range
The size of this stopper had a range which was the very problem. My sink opening size was at the smaller end of the range (1 1/8). As a result, when trying to push it in , it obviously would not go all the way flush so water seepage sways occurred. If I filled up the sink, it would be empty in 5-10 minutes. If my sink opening were at the larger end range ( 1 1/4), then it would go in flush and there would be no seepage. The way I dealt with this problem , I decided to use a very sharp knife to trim the wider portion of the stopper rim to the smaller range size. It was very rough and not perfect but now it holds the water in the sink much better.

Does the Job. Okay
So... why the ho-hum?It's hard to get one of these stoppers nowadays. You can get them, but in a shape that doesn't hold all the water in the sink basin. This does. It's good that way. No problem. It will do its job.But Amazon asked for a rating on "Sturdiness." The problem is, it's TOO sturdy. These rubber stoppers should, in time, soften up more and adapt themselves to your drain, so you don't have to struggle to twist them into the drain hole to be sure they don't come out. This one has stayed as stiff as it was from the get-go.Otherwise, yeah, it works okay.

Metal ring cuts through rubber stub, wish it was more durable
The stopper works fine, but it doesn't take long for the metal ring to cut through the little rubber tab when you're pulling it out of the drain. After that happens, you just have to pull the stopper out by grabbing the little rubber stub, which is fine, but eventually the stub comes off too. I use these in a commercial kitchen and they're fine, but I go through a couple of them each year because they do fall apart.

Tapered for a good fit
I don't care for the 'pop-ups' in bath vanity sinks so I didn't install mine. I have a stainless steel strainer basket sitting in the drain instead.Once in a while I do want to fill the basin, and that's where this plug comes in. It's tapered to fit a small range of sizes, and the taper makes sure it fits with a good seal in the drain.I didn't take any stars for this, but the ring that comes in the plug could be stronger. I replaced it with a sturdier ring, and also added a nice pull chain. It's a little pricey to not come with these things, but it should last many many years.

Perfect for me!
I needed a stopper for my bathtub, which is about 66 years old. Lost the original stopper a long time ago. The flat Oxxo I bought works fine for a bath, but the water quickly runs out. Not quite sure of the exact measurements of my tub drain, I gave this one a try. Perfect! Water stays in tub until I remove stopper. Since it doesn't fit all the way down into my drain, I can remove it from the stopper itself and not use the loop, which is securely fastened. But I'm not pulling the stopper from it, just in case it might break off. I'm very pleased!

Precisely the size promised
Nowadays, cheap parts like this are too often off spec, meaning they aren't the size claimed. A stopper won't necessarily "stop" if it's off spec. Despite the trend toward low quality goods, the one I received is precisely on spec, and for weeks now it has stopped 10 gallons of water in my outdoor fountain, without a drip. This tells me I should look for LDR Industries next time I need some thing like this.

Great price and no leaks!
Best 88 cents I ever spent lol I love taking baths but my new apartment didn't come with a stopper. Most of the other stoppers were like five to ten dollars and there was a chance they wouldn't fit! There was no way I was spending that much on a stopper so I got this one and it works great! It's a little big for my tub but it works out because the rubber is so flexible I just shove it in there and it gives it a tighter seal! No leaking! Which is big for me, I hate when I'm taking a bath and the water is slowly draining out and I have to keep refilling the tub.

Great Product and Customer Service
I ordered the wrong size stopper and filled out the form to exchange it for the correct size. I received the exchange the next day! I ended up mailing the other one back as this was the most convenient way. I couldn't be happier with the product and amazing customer service!

Disappointing!
When I received it and looked at the back, it said Warning: Cancer or Reproductive Harm. I had to throw it away, if I knew this was a warning I wouldn't have bought it. May be cheap, but not worth the risk.

Good quality but doesn't fit
Good quality but doesn't fit on my sink, slightly too big and doesn't stay in place which makes it useless as the water keeps going down the drain. :( Wasted my money.
