Still an amazing product despite receiving a broken container...
I really love this Shea butter! It melts and spreads easily, absorbs into the skin well and doesn't leave stains like the yellow one does. I use this to make my own whipped body butter with almond oil, coconut oil and rosehip essential oil. It whips together with a handheld mixer pretty quickly and holds up well in various temperatures. The Shea butter comes in the standard container that you would find at the local beauty supply store. The first order I got was great and lasted me for several months.However, this time when I ordered the container was cracked so I sent it back. Judging from how it was packaged when I opened my box, I would assume the issue is with how Amazon ships this product as a single item versus an issue with the Afrika Imports company itself. The first time I ordered, the container was in a box with several other items and was undamaged.I will definitely be buying this product again despite the container arriving cracked this time. I do however wish there was some way to contact Amazon directly to ask them to package this item better. Perhaps they will see this review.

Very good on my dry skin.
This product is really good. I used to itch very bad after showering, even after using lotion and baby oil. I knew had to try something else, the itching because of my dry skin had gotten horrendous...(and I'm a male saying this...LOL!). I mixed a handful of this Shea Butter with 10 drops of baby oil, stirred until product had a soft paste like consistency, and applied it to my skin. I knew instantly that this was what I needed. My skin stopped itching and I now 'Love the skin I'm in'..LOL. The only reason I didn't give five stars was because the container was damaged. I saw damaged container complaints many times in other reviews as well. Maybe that's something that should be addressed by the suppliers.UPDATE 4/5/22: Wow...Shea Butter is great!...I've become a believer.

A great amount for the price!
I haven’t used this specific product yet but I’m very familiar with African Shea Butter from other vendors. I’ve used the white Shea butter & it works wonders on healing scars, burns & cuts that have turned dark. The yellow Shea butter leaves skin greasy, the white Shea butter doesn’t. But they both will do the same for healing the skin & leaving it soft & moisturized. Personally I don’t have a need to use it in my hair. The only complaint I have is about the way Amazon packaged it for shipping. Guys you gotta do a better job! There was no bubble wrap to protect it. When it arrived the plastic container was broken & crumbled so I had to scoop it all out & put in smaller plastic containers I had saved. I would have given this 5 stars if it weren’t for the poor packaging. Otherwise the product itself is fantastic!

Always loved shea butter
Great product I used it with olive oil to make it smoother and make it last to split between the family in separate containers only issue I had was the container came to me broken..

great quality butter! just a bit off on size :/
i weighed it on my scale that i use to make all my products. i havent scooped any butter out and it already weighs less than 2 lbs WITH the container ! that means some ounces of product are missing. the price is still fair for the amount u get and the quality is definitely there
