Q: Does it feel more like a down pillow or a firm pillow when you use it? I've never tried memory foam.

Actually because you can add or remove foam as needed, it is extremely adjustable. The great thing about it is that you can pretty much shape it as you need and it will hold that form while sleeping. It is the most comfortable pillow I have ever owned, and I have been through many different pillows.

Q: I live in Florida and can get hot at night. Is the material of this pillow something you would consider unsuitable for hot sleepers?

I too live in Florida and normally sleep with 70 F ac . Id say for sure pillow is hot but a trick to it is sleep with zipper of pillow towards your feet amd open it. It lets heat out vs trapping it . Do same with tempurpedic neck pillow. I do think benefits of this Coop body pillow is worth sucking up being hot . Havent had need to crank down AC to 69 F yet. So go for it

The 20x60 case fits perfectly. It is longer than the pillow when on. Just like a normal pillow. I had the same concerns. Fear not. It's perfect.

Q: The inside of my body pillow has 2 separate foam parts. Is this how it is supposed to be?

It comes FOLDED and compressed, leaving a separation right down the pillow vertically. You can use your fingers to move the foam pieces around, doing away with the separation.
